		<official-title display="yes">To require the conveyance of certain public
		  land within the boundaries of Camp Williams, Utah, to support the training and
		  readiness of the Utah National Guard.</official-title>

		<section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H0696DF18DF0F468197296B94DD008C4D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Utah National Guard Readiness
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H2CD5CB6577464082A1F6074266B35900" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Land conveyance, Camp Williams,
			 Utah</header>
			<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H9DEF0554FF844B77A7B0C16F6DE2F4A5"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Definitions</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this Act:</text>
				<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id4AD4032BBC244A9FABC6EDA607E3447A"><enum>(1)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Federal land</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <term>Federal land</term> means
			 certain land that is—</text>
					<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idA82CBC95A1AC4944B69428E9EB2E229F"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">comprised of approximately 431
			 acres;</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id132F271EEEDD4F4CBCEB3014891CAE97"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">generally depicted on the map entitled
			 <quote>Proposed Camp Williams Land Transfer</quote> and dated March 7, 2008;
			 and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id701A011914E643DFA235AF7ABB802CEB"><enum>(C)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">located within the boundaries of the parcel
			 of public land that is—</text>
						<clause commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id2AFE5BB0AED9449581E2E757732116ED"><enum>(i)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">withdrawn by the Utah National Guard for
			 the purpose of permitting the Utah National Guard to use the parcel of public
			 land; and</text>
						</clause><clause commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id7AC8C337538B489F89DF9D9ED2B8282B"><enum>(ii)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">known as <quote>Camp Williams,
			 Utah</quote>.</text>
						</clause></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id0C4014FEB95841A8AC7D8CF626E8979B"><enum>(2)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Secretary</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <term>Secretary</term> means the
			 Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Bureau of Land Management.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id6C115160C13D42469EF42A1AE80781C3"><enum>(3)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">State</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <term>State</term> means the State
			 of Utah.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id6BC9342D544544F480DCAFD7473C1510"><enum>(b)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Conveyance</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 120 days after the date of
			 enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall convey to the State, without
			 consideration, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to
			 the Federal land.</text>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H30F11F6598E8467093C2242DAB40C96E"><enum>(c)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Revocation of Executive Order</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Executive Order 1922 of April 24, 1914, as
			 revoked in part pursuant to section 907 of the Camp W.G. Williams Land Exchange
			 Act of 1989 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/101/628">Public Law 101–628</external-xref>; 104 Stat. 4500),
			 shall be further revoked to the extent that Executive Order 1922 affects the
			 Federal land.</text>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H8218CE4B8459426B90C69288A7DBC6E2"><enum>(d)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Reversionary interest</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subject to subsection (e), in the deed to
			 the State, the Secretary shall provide that the Federal land shall revert to
			 the Secretary if the Secretary, in consultation with the Secretary of Defense
			 and the Governor of Utah, and after providing for an opportunity for public
			 comment, determines that any portion of the Federal land is—</text>
				<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idDAD0FBBDB8E44D4AB7384F616A235627"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">sold or attempted to be sold; or</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idAFEFADA2674F4BA5A5F43BF6A4C20C13"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">used for a purpose other than a purpose
			 relating to—</text>
					<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id8A7895B4C10B44CA987BC96FED8AE008"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">an activity carried out by the National
			 Guard; or</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id14A33A5EE79042FFB11403BCA739EF83"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">national defense.</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H734B9EA8770D4F7B90175632AB4EC841"><enum>(e)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Hazardous materials</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">With respect to any portion of the Federal
			 land that the Secretary determines to be subject to reversion under subsection
			 (d), if the Secretary determines that the portion of the Federal land contains
			 hazardous materials—</text>
				<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id872B2132639949EDAEFDF7F2C18B1A85"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the State shall pay to the United States an
			 amount equal to the fair market value of the portion of the Federal land;
			 and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id49F9343DC1D14CD6891BA86EC15EC01D"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the reversionary interest shall not apply
			 to the portion of the Federal land.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body>
