		<official-title>To amend the Act of March 1, 1933, to transfer certain
		  authority and resources to the Utah Dineh Corporation, and for other
		  purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="idB5E61C9EC6984B4A8DF28BD6F5AD4152" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Transfer of authority and
			 resources to Utah Dineh Corporation</header>
			<subsection id="id8798250A69244857A6543BC3A8324D22"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Amendment</header><text>The
			 Act of March 1, 1933 (47 Stat. 1418; 82 Stat. 121; 90 Stat. 2788), is
			 amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="idA05E112C852F416C83EA6A9B755585DF"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in the first
			 section—</text>
					<subparagraph id="idD5393F61CF2447529645F03DC320A224"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>thereon: Should</quote> and inserting <quote>thereon. Should</quote>;
			 and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="idEA8C201A3E1C4EEDB7F35A46AFC27F11"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>State of Utah:<italic> Provided</italic>, That said</quote> and all that
			 follows through the end of the section and inserting the following: <quote>Utah
			 Dineh Corporation:<italic> Provided</italic>, That 37.5 percent of those
			 royalties shall be paid to the Utah Dineh Corporation to promote the
			 educational, health, economic, social, and cultural well-being of all Navajo
			 Indians residing in San Juan County, Utah. <italic>Provided further</italic>,
			 That the Utah Dineh Corporation shall submit to the Secretary of the Interior
			 annual reports describing the accounts and operations of the Corporation
			 concerning the funds received under this section.</quote>; and</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="id7C089F6AA0CA4F2CA8264635FC6DBC39"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in section 2, by
			 striking <quote>equal in area and</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="ID6edb811c6cec4c119c528ab913d1cc4a"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Transfer of
			 funds and property</header>
				<paragraph id="idCBB2C170FF50443A865D30038BD4AD15"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Except as provided in paragraph (2), not later than March
			 31, 2010, the State of Utah shall transfer to the Utah Dineh
			 Corporation—</text>
					<subparagraph id="id1079D3E90A9C4080B3EB0502D5261660"><enum>(A)</enum><text>all funds,
			 assets, and real property (including appurtenances) held by the State in trust
			 for the San Juan Navajo Indians pursuant to the Act of March 1, 1933 (47 Stat.
			 1418; 82 Stat. 121; 90 Stat. 2788), on the day before the date of enactment of
			 this Act, for use by the Corporation in accordance with the Act of March 1,
			 1933 (as amended by subsection (a)); and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="ID6b34e9ed123149418732f825192e4eeb"><enum>(B)</enum><text>all contracts and
			 obligations entered into by the State, acting in the capacity of the State as
			 trustee, on behalf of the San Juan Navajo Indians, in accordance with the Act
			 of March 1, 1933 (47 Stat. 1418; 82 Stat. 121; 90 Stat. 2788), that are
			 outstanding on the day before the date of enactment of this Act.</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="idEDCF0B1B12654276A14DE45B9AAD83C6"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Extension</header><text>The
			 State of Utah and the Utah Dineh Corporation, by mutual agreement and on
			 publication for a period of not less than 14 days in a newspaper of general
			 circulation, may extend the deadline for the transfer described in paragraph
			 (1) as the State and Corporation determine to be appropriate.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id8127272F71854FE8AE8C4A94383EAFD9"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effect of
			 section</header>
				<paragraph id="id0C62AADC171349018035788324CC323B"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Rights and
			 remedies</header><text>Nothing in the amendments made by subsection (a) alters
			 any legal right or remedy that accrued before the date of enactment of this
			 Act.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="IDf47f1eec83234c679f52c12ea5893adc"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Prior
			 acts</header><text>Nothing in this section or the amendments made by this
			 section imposes any liability on the Utah Dineh Corporation for any act that
			 occurred before the date of enactment of this Act.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body>
