		<official-title>To require the Secretary of the Army to operate the
		  Buford Dam/Lake Sidney Lanier Project, and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Industrial and municipal
			 water supply, Lake Sidney Lanier, Georgia</header>
			<subsection id="idF4269C987F344EDAACD9CE19E8B4898E"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Requirement of
			 Secretary of the Army</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subject
			 to subsection (b), the Secretary of the Army (acting through the Chief of
			 Engineers) (referred to in this section as the <term>Secretary</term>) shall
			 operate the Buford Dam/Lake Sidney Lanier Project—</text>
				<paragraph id="idB3D3AD3607E24293B95A131ABBEB6E3E"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">for the purpose of municipal and industrial
			 water supply; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="idAA2F351ACB064D4C84BC16E806211727"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">notwithstanding each limitation described
			 in section 301(d) of the Water Supply Act of 1958 (43 U.S.C. 390b(d)), to
			 include storage in the project for water supply.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id0F69B8DCF23C46929807D4285C1A0E0A"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Condition</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subsection (a) shall not apply unless the
			 non-Federal sponsor of the water supply storage described in subsection (a)
			 pays the cost for the capital investment for reallocated storage space in
			 accordance with each procedure that the Secretary determines to be
			 necessary.</text>
