		  States Code, to provide for agreements for the reproduction and performance of
		  sound recordings by webcasters.</official-title>

		<section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Webcaster Settlement Act of
			 2009</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id851E3A763EE9422787A67A8156788882" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Authorization of agreements</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 114(f)(5) of title 17, United States
			 Code, is amended—</text>
			<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idA2C6E0E9B7D3407AA60EFA2AA24193B3"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subparagraph (D), by striking
			 <quote>2008</quote> and inserting <quote>2008, the Webcaster Settlement Act of
			 2009,</quote>;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id55B9F98179DC4E5094AD9426B9F38078"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subparagraph (E)(iii), by striking
			 <quote>to make eligible nonsubscription transmissions and ephemeral
			 recordings</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id0518FB2F5684403A9C30DBF415EB7704"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subparagraph (F), by striking
			 <quote>February 15, 2009</quote> and inserting <quote>at 11:59 p.m. Eastern
			 time on the 30th day after the date of the enactment of the Webcaster
			 Settlement Act of 2009</quote>.</text>
