<subsection commented="no" id="H4BF68245E1F844798796717C335B6815"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Subchapter A of chapter 64 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by striking section 6306.</text></subsection>
<subsection commented="no" id="H6A58A6B141E54EB8BE8B5D6155B1A229"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming amendments</header>
<paragraph commented="no" id="H8DF4BA9CC85C4899B9D8DF00FBF5739D"><enum>(1)</enum><text>Subchapter B of chapter 76 of such Code is amended by striking section 7433A.</text></paragraph>
<paragraph commented="no" id="H3116F4F5F95B4FEC91351BC7545C0092"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Section 7811 of such Code is amended by striking subsection (g).</text></paragraph>
<paragraph commented="no" id="H2CB2C30AE3824AE58098CC1DB14E04B0"><enum>(3)</enum><text>Section 1203 of the Internal Revenue Service Restructuring Act of 1998 is amended by striking subsection (e).</text></paragraph>
<paragraph commented="no" id="H05C665C8C18B48F5A35DCEBF3DF45D9E"><enum>(4)</enum><text>The table of sections for subchapter A of chapter 64 of such Code is amended by striking the item relating to section 6306.</text></paragraph>

<subsection commented="no" id="HA49A845B8AE943D2B425942FC3462EF0"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effective date</header>
<paragraph commented="no" id="HAA025E8925BE4FBC89A45DE49C819D06"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The amendments made by this section shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act.</text></paragraph>
<paragraph commented="no" id="HF2BF10EA6B2349C2B77EDE20DA622CD1"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Unauthorized contracts treated as void</header><text>Any qualified tax collection contract (as defined in section 6306 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as in effect before its repeal) shall be void.</text></paragraph></subsection></section>
