		  Corporation to fully insure Interest on Lawyers Trust

		<section id="H659489C75A65448187A94289D4AF9B86" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Interest on Lawyers Trust
			 Accounts</header>
			<subsection display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H4F40FBF230EE498B9FBF3E6973BEE140"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section
			 11(a)(1)(B)(iii) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, as added by section 343
			 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act
			 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/111/203">Public Law
			 111–203</external-xref>), is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="H6BCB8D9B0F7048D5819358CEC1C51B6C"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by redesignating subclauses (I), (II), and
			 (III) as items (aa), (bb), and (cc), respectively, and adjusting the margins
			 accordingly;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HBA05EF1695564832AEBE5F2881FCDF8A"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>means a deposit</quote> and inserting the following:</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H2BDD69D6311D4D5E86B80D2FB7814203" style="OLC">
						<quoted-block-continuation-text quoted-block-continuation-text-level="clause">means—</quoted-block-continuation-text><subclause id="HB69B917B20FB43778CAAC6DDE8E285B0"><enum>(I)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">a
				deposit</text>
						</subclause><after-quoted-block>;</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H12A7B446FD444CEAA6710E438C09C2DA"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in item (cc), as
			 so redesignated, by striking the period at the end and inserting <quote>;
			 and</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HCECCB95C11C84E93B605DCFC81CD8390"><enum>(4)</enum><text>by adding at the
			 end the following:</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H283451B5DD6F4D6FA54AB7A03F3A391D" style="OLC">
						<subclause id="HC8966DF5A62644B88FB1B26339357914"><enum>(II)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">a trust account established by an attorney
				or law firm on behalf of a client, commonly known as an <quote>Interest on
				Lawyers Trust Account</quote>, or a functionally equivalent account, as
				determined by the
				Corporation.</text>
						</subclause><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H42FD3E2679C443F19473CAB34574B8D4"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text>The amendments made by subsection (a) shall take effect on
			 December 31, 2010.</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="H12C375C5A40B45B49A092288F438E011"><enum>2.</enum><header>Determination of
			 budgetary effects</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The
			 budgetary effects of this Act, for the purpose of complying with the Statutory
			 Pay-As-You-Go Act of 2010, shall be determined by reference to the latest
			 statement titled <quote>Budgetary Effects of PAYGO Legislation</quote> for this
			 Act, submitted for printing in the Congressional Record by the Chairman of the
			 House Budget Committee, provided that such statement has been submitted prior
			 to the vote on passage.</text>
