		<section id="HB9BA892409CF4A7499B47908E8E8BC67" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Permanent End to TARP Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HAFACF82E3E8248F49847DC73BB5F8243"><enum>2.</enum><header>Termination of
			 TARP authority</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 120 of
			 the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (12 U.S.C. 5230) is amended to
			 read as follows:</text>

				<section id="H145DB73B2F2643F4B50FB472337D79C9"><enum>120.</enum><header>Termination of
				authority</header>
					<subsection id="HF50868E3D90D40FC981F2EE5ED2F50BF"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
				general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The authorities
				provided under sections 101(a), excluding section 101(a)(3), and the
				authorities provided under section 102 shall terminate on October 3,
				2010.</text>
					</subsection><subsection id="H109A5F6CA3CE4F86AE979C259F94E192"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Treatment of
				unfunded commitments</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">With
				respect to a commitment to purchase made by the Secretary under this title,
				including with respect to any housing assistance pursuant to section 109 or
				110, the Secretary may not expend funds with respect to such commitment on or
				after October 3,
				2010.</text>
