		  placed in service on or after September 8, 2010, and before

		<section id="H1069EFF8AA15493CB562209DACD67C0B" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>100 percent expensing for
			 capital property placed in service on or after September 8, 2010, and before
			 2012</header>
			<subsection id="H6DE5C3A6BB5B4237A29F6703624E1CFD"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 179 of the
			 Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (relating to election to expense certain
			 depreciable business assets) is amended by adding at the end the following new
			 subsection:</text>

					<subsection id="H47BBF751E96F47D6BC84F4DBFB16450E"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Special rules
				for 100 percent expensing period</header>
						<paragraph id="HD3BFA9868A1D4AB1A55C285ADEEECAE0"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
				general</header><text>In the case of property placed in service on or after
				September 8, 2010, and before January 1, 2012, subsection (b) shall not
				apply.</text>
						</paragraph><paragraph id="H8AEE0C3261B24047970DCF214D9AC4D1"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Application of
				section for periods prior to September 8</header><text>In the case of any
				taxable year which includes September 8, 2010, for the portion of such taxable
				year prior to September 8, each of the dollar amounts in subsections (b) and
				(e) shall be reduced by the amount which bears the same ratio to such dollar
				amount as the number of days in such portion of the taxable year bears to
				365.</text>
						</paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="HCCE5CF27E969495592CEE2AAFB3F39BB"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text>The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply to property
			 placed in service on or after September 31, 2010.</text>
