(a)

No deduction

Section 1212(d)(2) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking disability incurred in line of duty in a combat zone or incurred during performance of duty in combat-related operations as designated by the Secretary of Defense. and inserting combat-related disability (as defined in section 1413a of this title).. (b)

Retroactive application of amendment

The amendment made by subsection (a) shall take effect as of January 28, 2008, as if included in section 1646 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008 (Public Law 110–181; 122 Stat. 472), as enacted.
