		  Housing Act of 1937 for residents of public housing to engage in community

		<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H767D4D774F944F409D09C40EE1FCB086" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Public Housing Tenants Respect Act of
			 2010</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H9BB88CC1A81F4EDE9BDCC9309B13DC68"><enum>2.</enum><header>Repeal of public
			 housing community service and family self-sufficiency requirements</header>
			<subsection id="HB28C6FB35C854211B8CEEE5EE2B1E7B8"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Section 12 of the <act-name parsable-cite="USHA">United
			 States Housing Act of 1937</act-name> (42 U.S.C. 1437j) is amended by striking
			 subsections (c) through (g).</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="HB521566E50174EC09549ACE061D64AC9"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming
			 amendments</header><text>The <act-name parsable-cite="USHA">United States
			 Housing Act of 1937</act-name> is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="HDC3996233DBD436D9A16B73A86638D29"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in section
			 5A(d)(12) (42 U.S.C. 1437c–1(d)(12))—</text>
					<subparagraph id="HB8229F8AD06D48C4BE284E2BCFB5CF5D"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subparagraph
			 (A), by inserting <quote>and</quote> after the semicolon;</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HCAD39B1FC02E42A7B07F6B2074AED22D"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in subparagraph
			 (B), by striking the semicolon and inserting a period; and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H6902BD8BE71844E2A5B3A6C66BA4471C"><enum>(C)</enum><text>by striking
			 subparagraph (C);</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="H8E62B0A8CBF94A6DA33CD81275114AA7"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in section 6(l)(1)
			 (42 U.S.C. 1437d(l)(1)), by striking <quote>except for noncompliance</quote>
			 and all that follows through <quote>based on such noncompliance</quote>;
			 and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HD5B0DEAF07DD4B5CB8708B517E56A95F"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in section
			 9(e)(1)(H) (42 U.S.C. 1437g(e)(1)(H)), by striking <quote>a public housing work
			 program under section 12</quote> and inserting <quote>any program that provides
			 work for residents of public housing</quote>.</text>
