		<section id="HBBC56AB864724E2383E37D2A26390CFC" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Consolidation of staff
			 positions</header>
			<subsection id="H90EBE662EB49433491773B53C1C435A3"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Consolidation</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 108 of the Legislative Branch
			 Appropriations Act, 1991 (2 U.S.C. 1849) is amended to read as follows:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H57E013BC3B064B93A7DE69212C43E3B4" style="traditional">
					<section id="HCCFCBA5F3B8D4685BF0869B80471B064"><enum>108.</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Architect of the Capitol may fix the
				rate of basic pay for not more than 32 positions at a rate not to exceed the
				highest total rate of pay for the Senior Executive Service under subchapter
				VIII of chapter 53 of title 5, United States Code, for the locality involved.</text>
					</section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H8A31A18188864708BEC00C8F92ACA2E5"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming
			 Amendment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 1203(e) of
			 the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 2003 (2 U.S.C. 1805(e)) is amended
			 by striking paragraph (3).</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="HC7C322BD6204496DA4DE667B710B3205"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effective
			 Date</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendments made by
			 this section shall apply with respect to pay periods beginning on or after the
			 date of the enactment of this Act.</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="HEF824935EF7F4BAEA978CE980F158AFF" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Authority to enter
			 into long-term leases of real property</header>
			<subsection id="H7BDF7173D17745EFBBF30A3E76DB0105"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Authority</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 1202(a)(2) of the Legislative
			 Branch Appropriations Act, 2003 (41 U.S.C. 253l–7(a)(2)) is amended by striking
			 the period at the end and inserting the following: <quote>, except that in
			 applying such section to the Architect of the Capitol, the term <term>multiyear
			 contract</term> shall include a lease of real property for more than one, but
			 not more than 10, program years.</quote>.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H4B483882D08A40CC8F0606DF0BE15932"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective
			 Date</header><text>The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply to
			 contracts entered into on or after the date of the enactment of this
			 Act.</text>
