		  Publications and Records Commission through fiscal year 2015, and for other

		<section id="HCC4BC53615524C1BB1E02FA83E3BD21A" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short Title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>National Historical Publications and Records Commission Act
			 of 2010</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H1CD8BFC013EA4610B14DEC7037D6F11C"><enum>2.</enum><header>Authorization of
			 appropriations through fiscal year 2015 for national historical publications
			 and records commission</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section
			 2504(g)(1) of title 44, United States Code, is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="HA640EF53DEDB48F6A96CE174E4CA7B42"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subparagraph
			 (R), by striking <quote>and</quote>;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HF05F718904C145C587593E0324F11210"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subparagraph
			 (S), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HD60FCF8DC9B048AAA847BA14706EC739"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by adding at the
			 end the following new subparagraph:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H7457DC33DA7A45019178827BF201FC83" style="traditional">
					<subparagraph id="HCC222A8FBD62413CA89AD57DEE9B06DE"><enum>(T)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">$20,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2011,
				2012, 2013, 2014, and
				2015.</text>

			</paragraph></section><section id="H2CE87F4BAA2F45EFB69A3BCB3C83CDEB"><enum>3.</enum><header>
			 Grants for establishment of state and local databases for records of servitude,
			 emancipation, and post-civil war reconstruction</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 8 of the Presidential Historical
			 Records Preservation Act of 2008 (44 U.S.C. 2504 note) is amended to read as
			 follows:</text>

				<section id="H9A4EFD7B4CB44CC2BA25C666A582F9A6"><enum>8.</enum><header>
				Grants for establishment of state and local databases for records of servitude,
				emancipation, and post-civil war reconstruction</header>
					<subsection id="H5817021FD5E947F99E76948E8E1593F4"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
				General</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Archivist of the
				United States, after considering the advice and recommendations of the National
				Historical Publications and Records Commission, may make grants to States,
				colleges and universities, museums, libraries, and genealogical associations to
				preserve records and establish electronically searchable databases consisting
				of local records of servitude, emancipation, and post-Civil War
				reconstruction.</text>
					</subsection><subsection id="H45DE5B0319BA4927BE9206D0815DCA8F"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Maintenance</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any database established using a grant
				under this section shall be maintained by appropriate agencies or institutions
				designated by the Archivist of the United
				States.</text>
