<section id="H8110410186834A6380979B0D1129A79A" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Increase of maximum age for children eligible for medical care under CHAMPVA program</header> 
<subsection id="H86B345819BBA48718F7033B668C9097E"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Increase</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 1781(c) of title 38, United States Code, is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H18F8087A5B8141CE949F641602B51BD2"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking <quote>twenty-three</quote> and inserting <quote>twenty-six</quote>; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HC856AE9BC8EA4233BA02C58F692158E3"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking <quote>twenty-third birthday</quote> and inserting <quote>twenty-sixth birthday</quote>.</text> </paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="HBCB81229877A40CE8C56F454627AD2EA"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendments made by subsection (a) shall apply with respect to medical care provided on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text></subsection></section>
