<section id="H8231AD15DDA04C45A14BAD6442451FE8" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Casa Grande Ruins National Monument Boundary Modification Act of 2010</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="HEFDFFF83B23F4D169BFB7E49BDC6AD61"><enum>2.</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In this Act:</text> 
<paragraph id="HEFF70DF91AB2465EA3B7D43EF716CBC3"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Map</header><text>The term <term>map</term> means the map entitled <quote>Proposed Casa Grande Ruins Boundary Modification</quote>, numbered 303/100,934, and dated January 2010.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HD9C0586ACFC243E1AEDD141EE338C9B7"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Monument</header><text>The term <term>Monument</term> means the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument in the State of Arizona.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HAC216A7F246A480A90AB5F047F68789B"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The term <term>Secretary</term> means the Secretary of the Interior.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HD2E6ACC832A44A039B8684E811B9EBEA"><enum>(4)</enum><header>State</header><text>The term <term>State</term> means the State of Arizona.</text></paragraph></section> 
<section id="HBD9AC081E6434255AA6C7AE9DDF25D29"><enum>3.</enum><header>Acquisition and transfer of administrative jurisdiction of lands</header> 
<subsection id="H5573D8897C504B55A8CAD01216B1A727"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Acquisition of lands</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary is authorized to acquire by donation, exchange, or purchase with donated or appropriate funds from willing owners only, the private or State lands or interests in lands generally depicted on the map, to be administered as part of the Monument.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HF5A224F18D1243D6A6CAE9271E64B77E"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Transfer of administrative jurisdiction to NPS</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The following Federal lands as generally depicted on the map are hereby withdrawn from all forms of entry, appropriation, and disposal under the public land laws; location, entry, and patent under the mining laws; and operation of the mineral leasing and geothermal leasing laws and mineral materials laws, and administrative jurisdiction of such Federal lands is hereby transferred to the National Park Service to be administered as part of the Monument:</text> 
<paragraph id="H8E964325B20A4352ACD33DD9B25ED07F"><enum>(1)</enum><text>The approximately 3.8 acres of Federal land administered by the Bureau of Land Management.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H3CE58F68367B4A7EB81DB2055320C086"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The approximately 7.41 acres of Federal land of administered by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.</text></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="HD90BA5C2415B437FBF5313E85A56F09B"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Transfer of administrative jurisdiction to BIA</header><text>Administrative jurisdiction of the approximately 3.5 acres of Federal land administered by the National Park Service as generally depicted on the map as <quote>Lands to be Transferred to BIA</quote> are hereby transferred to the Bureau of Indian Affairs for the purposes of the San Carlos Irrigation Project.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H357EEAD461A74B37A9BE6128299449DD"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Administration</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Upon acquisition or transfer of the lands identified in subsections (a) and (b), the Secretary shall administer those lands as part of the Monument in accordance with the laws generally applicable to units of the National Park System, including—</text> 
<paragraph id="HDDEE41FC9F4D42BEA92561BE1436729A"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the National Park Service Organic Act (16 U.S.C. 1 et seq.); and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HF20788E5405A4EAFB4F9A0E9F1673C97"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the Act of August 21, 1935 (16 U.S.C. 461 et seq.).</text></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="HF61EDA515B8E4F829647E37F7A558894"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Boundary and map update</header> 
<paragraph id="H64E29F50D1E941E48DB58AC8749C840A"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Transfers</header><text>Upon completion of the transfers pursuant to subsection (b), the Secretary shall modify the boundary of the Monument accordingly, and shall update the map to reflect such transfers.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HD44BF153DD894F149951F3F7BDA7C446"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Acquisitions</header><text>Upon completion of any of the acquisitions pursuant to subsection (a), the Secretary shall modify the boundary of the Monument accordingly, and shall update the map to reflect such acquisitions.</text></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="H867D9AF502C045B3921939CB84A3FA60"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Map on file</header><text>The map shall be on file and available for inspection in the appropriate offices of the National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior.</text></subsection></section> 
<section id="HEE56103A9BD94048ABF88DE19DD4A689"><enum>4.</enum><header>Administration of State trust lands</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Secretary may enter in to an agreement with the State to provide for cooperative management of the approximately 200 acres of State trust lands generally depicted on the map.</text></section> 
<section id="H4606149E907642178F67CF3758CCB75A"><enum>5.</enum><header>Boundary Study</header> 
<subsection id="HA05924A073C44691BA1829D46C28F2B8"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary shall conduct a study to identify any additional lands that the Secretary considers appropriate to be a part of any future adjustments to the boundary of the Monument.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H4021B44DB16A4FB6B4229212CFD694C7"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Criteria</header><text>The study shall examine the natural, cultural, recreational, and scenic values and characteristics of the lands identified under subsection (a).</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H660944297BAB45C091DE58C60F0ADB3E"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Report</header><text>Not later than 3 years after the date funds are made available for the study under this section, the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Natural Resources of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate a report on the findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the study.</text></subsection></section>
