		<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H447A684751C54233A1D72E1CFFF086D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Disabled Veteran Small Business
			 Eligibility Expansion Act of 2009</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H1FBBB7E2A0C34AA6886BE83049E0EFAE"><enum>2.</enum><header>Eligibility of
			 service-disabled veterans under 8<enum-in-header>(a)</enum-in-header>
			 program</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 8(a) of the
			 Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(a)) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="HA41849B9E8934C9092BAB3B2D11E2BC3"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph
			 (1)(C) by inserting after <quote>small business concern owned and controlled by
			 socially and economically disadvantaged individuals</quote> the following:
			 <quote>, or a small business concern owned and controlled by service-disabled
			 veterans,</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H99B32D34093D4D48A36319BC71181341"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in paragraph
			 (4)—</text>
				<subparagraph id="HDA163ABF5734445898382634BD1E3C"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by redesignating
			 subparagraph (C) as subparagraph (D); and</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H76FBEF12B6AA491FB93F005290F7A200"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by inserting after
			 subparagraph (B) the following new subparagraph:</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H698628818E0644F887BAE40425EA5D94" style="OLC">
						<subparagraph id="HFBE5C93622E94695A50014306D8FEDC0"><enum>(C)</enum><text>For purposes of
				this section—</text>
							<clause id="H6FFEA925C86D414096006293E9DF75C3"><enum>(i)</enum><text>the term
				<term>socially and economically disadvantaged small business concern</term>
				includes a small business concern owned and controlled by service-disabled
				veterans; and</text>
							</clause><clause id="H8E7CA75C97D841178800EB10CD771DE9"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>the term
				<term>disadvantaged owner</term> includes an owner who is a service-disabled
				veteran, in the case of a small business concern owned and controlled by
				service-disabled veterans.</text>
