<legis-type>AN ACT</legis-type> 
<official-title display="yes">To authorize the Secretary of the Interior to expand the boundary of the Park, to conduct a study of potential land acquisitions, and for other purposes.</official-title>

<section id="H23611A1C88DF460096987F89988A3956" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>San Antonio Missions National Historical Park Boundary Expansion Act of 2010</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H70851B3731EE4CDABC9BF4B3B40818C2"><enum>2.</enum><header>Park boundary study</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 201 of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/95/629">Public Law 95–629</external-xref> (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/410ee">16 U.S.C. 410ee</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HC13FD4DE1D094F8F9071DE8CBB9D2C0F"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by redesignating subsections (b), (c), (d), (e), and (f) as subsections (c), (e), (f), (g), and (h) respectively;</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HFB8CD16701774D9E8B75BA18069E9103"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting after subsection (a) the following new subsection:</text>

<subsection id="H6723D00D935B495895DBC83F543545B8"><enum>(b)</enum> 
<paragraph id="H91D95D11F8C94DB598F056222CEC5416" display-inline="yes-display-inline"><enum>(1)</enum><text>The Secretary shall conduct a study of lands within Bexar and Wilson Counties, Texas, to identify lands that would be suitable for inclusion within the boundaries of the park. In conducting the study, the Secretary shall examine the natural, cultural, recreational, and scenic values and characteristics of lands within Bexar and Wilson Counties.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H8BD6A452333D42A89F2E898947EC32EE" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Not later than 3 years after the date funds are made available for the study under paragraph (1), the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Natural Resources of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate a report on the findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the study.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HAA807A80D5E64DAE9988F08D7A933988"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by inserting after subsection (c) (as so redesignated) the following new subsection:</text>

<subsection id="HF194D9EB926C428CB0D4C91B15A572D3"><enum>(d)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary may assign park employees to provide interpretive services, including visitor information and education, at facilities outside the boundary of the park.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></section> 
<section id="HA4E39EA74FB046359C6BE13962D30E2C"><enum>3.</enum><header>Boundary expansion</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 201(a) of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/95/629">Public Law 95–629</external-xref> (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/410ee">16 U.S.C. 410ee(a)</external-xref>) is amended as follows:</text> 
<paragraph id="H90B358133B244213B5C90358AC1EA6B1"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">By striking <quote>In order</quote> and inserting the following: <quote>(1) In order</quote>. </text></paragraph>

<paragraph id="HC9DB90F7478B44128C8435ECAD427A74" indent="up1"><enum>(3)</enum><text>The boundary of the park is further modified to include approximately 151 acres, as depicted on the map titled <quote>San Antonio Missions National Historical Park Proposed Boundary Addition 2009</quote>, numbered 472/68,027, and dated November 2009. The map shall be on file and available for inspection in the appropriate offices of the National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior. The Secretary of the Interior may not use condemnation authority to acquire any lands or interests in lands under this Act.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></section>
