		<legis-type>A BILL</legis-type>
		<official-title>To amend title 10, United States Code, to extend
		  whistleblower protections to a member of the Armed Forces who alerts Department
		  of Defense investigation or law enforcement organizations, a person or
		  organization in the member’s chain of command, and certain other persons or
		  entities about the potentially dangerous ideologically based threats or actions
		  of another member against United States interests or security.</official-title>

		<section id="H4EA818BEA7F7450AA54FED4EAE1EF914" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Military Whistleblower Protection
			 Enhancement Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H51848E779CA24A71B8A70F00FD35270F"><enum>2.</enum><header>Protected
			 communications by members of the Armed Forces and prohibition of retaliatory
			 personnel actions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section
			 1034(c)(2) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the
			 following new subparagraph:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HA948172EE0434775AC892589B6C954BF" style="OLC">
				<subparagraph id="HF8C91F1CD0DB4B109C0EA79017BCCB2C" indent="up1"><enum>(C)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Ideologically based threats or actions of
				another member that the member providing the information reasonably believes
				could be counterproductive or detrimental to United States interests or
				security.</text>
