		<section id="H872D14966A614B8C878418B802129ACE" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Contracts for Federal
			 purchases of renewable energy</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 203 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005
			 (42 U.S.C. 15852) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="HB9CD56CDB7314E578E096B67759BF53E"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by redesignating
			 subsection (d) as subsection (e); and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HCE3FD9A81A5C49148853BF83F615A5AE"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting after
			 subsection (c) the following new subsection (d):</text>
				<quoted-block id="HC68BD75A47344A2D801140D4A3615E51" style="OLC">
					<subsection id="H63B6EF232D6C4F8D9BDCE1482945C250"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Contracts for
				Renewable Energy</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding section 501(b)(1)(B) of
				title 40, United States Code, a contract for the acquisition of renewable
				energy for the Federal Government may be made for a period of not more than 30
				years.</text>
