<subsection id="H70EB3D2EEAE146D693D4CE6EE72608E0"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Clause (vii) of section 168(e)(3)(B) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (defining 5-year property) is amended by striking <quote>January 1, 2010</quote> and inserting <quote>January 1, 1012</quote>. </text> </subsection> 
<subsection id="H947D80BEC1044823961FA418B25F0A93"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendments made by this section shall apply to property placed in service after December 31, 2009.</text></subsection></section>
