		  Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to facilities in Midwestern States, and for other

		<section id="H377D1A487A3E4D869F8A71BA874D4BA9" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote>Keep
			 Terrorists Out of the Midwest Act</quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H21BF74B1C34844F0ADB1ED53C802DD05" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition on
			 transfer of individuals detained at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to facilities in
			 Midwestern States</header>
			<subsection id="H9E4A9EE891074408A9EA688E18B11059"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Prohibition</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">No individual detained by the United States
			 at Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, may be—</text>
				<paragraph id="H2BF2D44A97744EB289042D7E31D720A3"><enum>(1)</enum><text>transferred to or
			 housed in a facility located in a Midwestern State; or</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HD065E7B8BCEB47B4B3F567AD3CB36AA2"><enum>(2)</enum><text>prosecuted or
			 tried for any offense against the United States in any Midwestern State.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H815CAF8B1175471DB6ECF6819ECD4E7F"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Midwestern State
			 defined</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">For the purposes of
			 this Act, the term <quote>Midwestern State</quote> means Iowa, Illinois,
			 Minnesota, Missouri, Arkansas, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Indiana,
			 Nebraska, and Kansas.</text>
