		<official-title display="yes">To amend title 38, United States Code, to
		  recognize the service in the reserve components of certain persons by honoring
		  them with status as veterans under law.</official-title>

		<section id="H2A8BC7A89DD540799089DEC87BA307A5" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Provision of status under law
			 by honoring certain members of the reserve components as veterans</header>
			<subsection id="H686606F9018E40808C51AD5FA0DD6DC0"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/38/1">Chapter
			 1</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, is amended by inserting
			 after <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/107">section
			 107</external-xref> the following new section:</text>

					<section id="HEF259AEE0BE343EC85F1BEB61AB80039"><enum>107A.</enum><header>Honoring as
				veterans certain persons who performed service in the reserve
				components</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Any person who is
				entitled under
				<external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/10/1223">chapter 1223</external-xref> of title 10 to
				retired pay for nonregular service or, but for age, would be entitled under
				such chapter to retired pay for nonregular service shall be honored as a
				veteran but shall not be entitled to any benefit by reason of this
				section.</text>

			 amendment</header><text>The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter
			 is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 107 the following
