		<official-title>To authorize appropriations for the Federal Trade
		  Commission for certain international technical assistance

		<section id="HD2EDE6E3C1D64D89BF3C29EF55F05A63" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Authorization of
			 Appropriations for the FTC</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 25 of the Federal Trade Commission
			 Act (15 U.S.C. 57c) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="H2DF66CAE2B3F451F9108068E68720AF1"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>There</quote> and inserting <quote>(1) There</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HA43DD79544BE4F92869F4219E6F689FB"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting at
			 the end the following new paragraph:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H15B93C16810045E68A3816DD8DB84D0F" style="OLC">
					<paragraph id="HF9BEFB0AF3F64B6CACA37C32A9783C14"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Authorization
				for international technical assistance</header><text>There are authorized to be
				appropriated to the Commission $10,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2010
				through 2016 to continue to enhance its provision of international technical
				assistance with respect to foreign consumer protection and competition regimes,
				including—</text>
						<subparagraph id="H82F9783891C54FD293995F7CF6139D76"><enum>(A)</enum><text>expenses for
				consultations and meetings hosted by the Commission with foreign government
				agency officials and appropriate representatives and staff to exchange views
				concerning developments relating to the Commission’s mission, development and
				implementation of cooperation agreements, and provision of technical assistance
				for the development of foreign consumer protection or competition regimes;
				and</text>
						</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HD13E272773BA4588908D5CEE72E57672"><enum>(B)</enum><text>necessary
				administrative and logistical expenses for such consultations and meetings
				including, meals, travel, transportation, and related lodging or
				subsistence.</text>
