		<official-title display="yes">To amend the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act to
		  provide an exception from the continuing requirement for annual privacy notices
		  for financial institutions which do not change their policies and practices
		  with regard to disclosing nonpublic personal information from the policies and
		  practices that were disclosed in the most recent disclosure sent to consumers,
		  and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="HDBB6633800B94792BC69F68617B39A41" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Eliminate Privacy Notice Confusion
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H5C1DB17FEE6E4A94928B35E3DAB1B4EA"><enum>2.</enum><header>Exception to
			 annual privacy notice requirement under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley
			 Act</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 503 of the
			 Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/6803">15 U.S.C. 6803</external-xref>) is amended by
			 adding the following new subsection:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HACFA51E638FF4B1989ED0E2AA7FBA5B5" style="OLC">
				<subsection id="H9672C6D309334EFEB9C5198C2B636F20"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Exception to
				annual notice requirement</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A
				financial institution that—</text>
					<paragraph id="H48FFA4AD052045CE8BE7F8517A3D79C4"><enum>(1)</enum><text>provides nonpublic
				personal information only in accordance with the provisions of subsection
				(b)(2) or (e) of section 502 or regulations prescribed under section 504(b);
				and</text>
					</paragraph><paragraph id="HC61609C72245456AA4E3AF86D774ED17"><enum>(2)</enum><text>has not changed
				its policies and practices with regard to disclosing nonpublic personal
				information from the policies and practices that were disclosed in the most
				recent disclosure sent to consumers in accordance with this subsection,</text>
					</paragraph><continuation-text continuation-text-level="subsection">shall not
				be required to provide an annual disclosure under this subsection until such
				time as the financial institution fails to comply with any criteria described
				in paragraph (1) or
				(2).</continuation-text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
		</section><section id="H8804EF89B5464542AAE3B6AE971F8260"><enum>3.</enum><header>Budget
			 compliance</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The budgetary
			 effects of this Act, for the purpose of complying with the Statutory
			 Pay-As-You-Go Act of 2010, shall be determined by reference to the latest
			 statement titled <quote>Budgetary Effects of PAYGO Legislation</quote> for this
			 Act, submitted for printing in the Congressional Record by the Chairman of the
			 Committee on the Budget of the House of Representatives, provided that such
			 statement has been submitted prior to the vote on passage.</text>
