		<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HC126C033D71743DDA1B8F9DCF4B543A5" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Living Organ Donor Job Security
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HCD3C5499A26C4EB584631CBA0797AA15"><enum>2.</enum><header>Leave for living
			 organ donation</header>
			<subsection id="HE44114E116554B30A574ACA7E8D2AD9B"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Leave
			 requirement</header>
				<paragraph id="H2C2BB64B04BA4254A884A34784D2B13"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Non-Federal
			 employees</header><text>Section 102(a)(1) of the Family and Medical Leave Act
			 of 1993 (29 U.S.C. 2612(a)) is amended by adding at the end the following new
			 subparagraph:</text>

						<subparagraph id="H7DB7162CCCC74C31A874B6A35FDDBBC"><enum>(F)</enum><text>In order to provide
				a living organ donation, including time spent for—</text>
							<clause id="H589C1365022440168B5606E62DE0F052"><enum>(i)</enum><text>tests used to
				determine whether the eligible employee is medically suitable for live organ
				donation;</text>
							</clause><clause id="H9516B3A6A74045F9AEBEC1B886FA0001"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>physical,
				psychological, and social evaluations of the live donor;</text>
							</clause><clause id="HDA122AEC45DF496586AECCACBD1D8E03"><enum>(iii)</enum><text>pretransplant
				outpatient services;</text>
							</clause><clause id="H4CAB9585200A463B9EC85635B9EBD00"><enum>(iv)</enum><text>postoperative
				inpatient and outpatient transplantation services;</text>
							</clause><clause id="H19E840339DD2468BACF841F7EFB09140"><enum>(v)</enum><text>travel in
				connection with tests, evaluations, and services described in clauses (i)
				through (iv); and</text>
							</clause><clause id="HFF0FDE7BCEDE44CEB9C38C94CB86DB"><enum>(vi)</enum><text>recuperation
				consistent with the type of transplant
				performed.</text>
							</clause></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HE297ADE86195467C92714CDF63140504"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Federal
			 employees</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 6382(a)(1)
			 of title 5, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following
			 new subparagraph:</text>

						<subparagraph id="H51375C8C203048DDBF69CCD93D61B28E"><enum>(E)</enum><text>In order to
				provide a living organ donation, including time spent for—</text>

				determine whether the eligible employee is medically suitable for live organ
				donation;</text>

				psychological, and social evaluations of the live donor;</text>

				outpatient services;</text>

				through (iv); and</text>

				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HB80140F8D08C472EA24F23166B84F990"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Certification</header>
				<paragraph id="HAC2DD9DD6B1B4B9DADFA62531BE22EC9"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Non-federal
			 employees</header><text>The Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (29 U.S.C.
			 2611 et seq.) is further amended by striking <quote>section
			 102(a)(1)(D)</quote> and inserting <quote>subparagraph (D) or (F) of section
			 102(a)(1)</quote> in the following sections, respectively:</text>
					<subparagraph id="H2B3EF602128F437F00129F26A8EAA5A5"><enum>(A)</enum><text>Section
			 103(b)(4)(B) (29 U.S.C. 2613(b)(4)(B)).</text>

			 employees</header><text>Section 6383(b)(4)(B) of title 5, United States Code is
			 amended by striking <quote>section 6382(a)(1)(D)</quote> and inserting
			 <quote>subparagraph (D) or (E) of section 6382(a)(1)</quote>.</text>

			 amendments</header>
				<paragraph id="H1C1269EC1EF449C2ACC3C5AA7D1DA140"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Non-federal
			 employees</header><text>The Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (29 U.S.C.
			 2611 et seq.) is further amended—</text>
					<subparagraph id="H0E8112CFB1CE4CC89065811BFDCA380"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>(C) or (D)</quote> each place it appears and inserting <quote>(C), (D),
			 or (F)</quote> in—</text>
