		<official-title>To amend title 10, United States Code, to use a time
		  requirement for determining eligibility for the reimbursement of certain travel
		  expenses.</official-title>

		<section id="HCDD70760D357472C905057CD5273A216" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Reimbursement of certain
			 travel expenses</header>
			<subsection id="H40744C2A3D344C5EBD4A5F0A7C4C612E"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 1074i of
			 title 10, United States Code, is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="HB44C2979F004498081D7DD15680C349A"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subsection (a), by striking <quote>more
			 than 100 miles</quote> and inserting <quote>at a location that is more than 90
			 minutes driving time, as determined under subsection (c),</quote>;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H1350E3EE21DD48C6A9870A7A78218923"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by redesignating
			 subsection (c) as subsection (d); and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HB40A8284F1CC40FFB43CF3C054265B5E"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by inserting after
			 subsection (b) the following new subsection (c):</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H82D5C201CC1243E2A738ADCDA4F6ABD2" style="USC">
						<subsection id="HF82424F2ECB843BE984A3D7F0E4D771B"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Driving
				time</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">For purposes of this
				subsection, the Secretary shall prescribe regulations that—</text>
							<paragraph commented="no" id="H7D3B4FE543234C1E9D92A162FD5FB3FD"><enum>(1)</enum><text>define driving
				time;</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="H99909794B2334DD8BE7608D565FF754F"><enum>(2)</enum><text>specify the method
				that will be used to calculate driving time through the use of an
				Internet-based global tracking system that determines time and distance;
				and</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="H57A78B7238AB4815A1E639E430EC52E4"><enum>(3)</enum><text>ensure that time
				spent in traffic congestion will not be considered in the calculation of
				driving time.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HF89F335B04BD4BCEB855513D4AB31D94"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Regulations</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 180 days after the date of
			 the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall prescribe the
			 regulations required by subsection (c) of section 1074i of title 10, United
			 States Code, as added by this Act.</text>
