		<section id="H153FD36B3FE9432ABF94BF97F3DD8EEE" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote>Legal
			 Interrogation Procedures Act</quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HE34D1E50FAEF47878E595687D0E04E62"><enum>2.</enum><header>Limitation on use
			 of interrogation techniques by the intelligence community</header>
			<subsection id="H8AB3F601E4EB423489A2BDBFE495D8F9"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Limitation</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Title XI of the National Security Act of
			 1947 (50 U.S.C. 442 et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following new
			 section:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H5551648F7DB1431EB09BA3CAA675EF75" style="traditional">
					<section id="HEFC7E1D84F954A7C9A982E97BDFE82A5"><enum>1103.</enum><header>Limitation on use of interrogation techniques by the
		  intelligence community</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">No person in the custody or under the
				effective control of an element of the intelligence community, or a contractor
				or subcontractor of such element, regardless of nationality or physical
				location, shall be subject to any treatment or technique of interrogation not
				authorized by the United States Army Field Manual on Human Intelligence
				Collector
				Operations.</text>

			</subsection><subsection id="H956B5B0F36774E559BC7F878EC66070F"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical
			 amendment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The table of
			 contents in the first section of such Act (50 U.S.C. 401 note) is amended by
			 adding at the end the following new item:</text>
