		  1974 to increase the limitation on the amount of community development block

		<section id="H1FDFF070A13F406EAE1E7F99520C26BD" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Community Development Block Grant
			 Improvement Act of 2009</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H888B8BD0AACB4181A9FB48787DCD5BF2"><enum>2.</enum><header>Increase in CDBG
			 public services cap</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Paragraph
			 (8) of section 105(a) of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (42
			 U.S.C. 5305(a)(8)) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="HC8BC89BDD8364126BF0CCE37822DCC92"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>15 per centum</quote> each place such term appears and inserting
			 <quote>50 percent</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HD714437A5F4F4000887F215BBDD75487"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>unless such unit</quote> and all that follows through <quote>yields the
			 higher amount</quote>.</text>
