		<official-title>To amend section 211(o) of the Clean Air Act to change
		  the definition of renewable biomass in the renewable fuel program, and for
		  other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="HB3065E1A2B2640989A6D0C955938BDB4" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Definition of renewable
			 biomass in Clean Air Act</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 211(o)(1)(I) of the Clean Air Act
			 (42 U.S.C. 7545(o)(1)(I)) is amended by redesignating clauses (v) through (vii)
			 as clauses (vi) through (viii), respectively and by inserting after clause (iv)
			 the following:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H716CAD2CFC474EB0A9316975FA1BC8CE" style="OLC">
				<clause id="HF5DC2D950D4D4BFA95EAC8B52C3A611D"><enum>(v)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">materials, pre-commercial thinnings, or
				removed invasive species from National Forest System land and public lands (as
				defined in section 103 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976
				(43 U.S.C. 1702)) that are byproducts of preventative treatments (such as
				trees, wood, brush, thinnings, chips, and slash), that are removed to reduce
				hazardous fuels, to reduce or contain disease or insect infestation, or to
				restore ecosystem health, and would not otherwise be used for higher-value
				products; and that are—</text>
					<subclause id="HC0D2E4A3F27D43AB89363393C5B4C9AD"><enum>(I)</enum><text>not from any of
				the following:</text>
						<item id="H5FF7031EF4A944CAAB7C164C20BEB5C8"><enum>(aa)</enum><text>components of the
				national Wilderness Preservation System;</text>
						</item><item id="H0E86CD2EABE1484FA7586643D5A3BBE1"><enum>(bb)</enum><text>Wilderness Study
				Areas;</text>
						</item><item id="H9E208C771EC64381B66EE5790FBE9C9F"><enum>(cc)</enum><text>Inventoried
				Roadless Areas or unroaded acres of at least 5,000 acres;</text>
						</item><item id="H439DAB6497FF4FB69F21E33BF869B1DB"><enum>(dd)</enum><text>old
				growth or mature forest stands;</text>
						</item><item id="H917383925A60470F8EB505A848D32D3E"><enum>(ee)</enum><text>components of the
				National Landscape Conservation System;</text>
						</item><item id="HFF52C475DDC643899338693BB0CE6F81"><enum>(ff)</enum><text>National
				Monuments;</text>
						</item><item id="HE09CE5037C5E4488A2684072C73E4024"><enum>(gg)</enum><text>National
				Conservation Areas;</text>
						</item><item id="H22EE4BB5D47E4A4ABE3321BF07F9B3B6"><enum>(hh)</enum><text>Designated
				Primitive Areas; or</text>
						</item><item id="H52DA4C18D3ED4862919DEDE91A837420"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>Wild and Scenic
				Rivers corridors;</text>
						</item></subclause><subclause id="H9B29398C597349BAB496AF6A699B305D"><enum>(II)</enum><text>harvested in
				environmentally sustainable quantities, as determined by the appropriate
				Federal land manager; and</text>
					</subclause><subclause id="H0E4F27BA46FE4D7EB7C9ECCF4590551C"><enum>(III)</enum><text>harvested in
				accordance with Federal and State law, and applicable land management
				plans.</text>
