		<official-title>To amend the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 to require
		  information on the value of any personal residence and on the balance, interest
		  rate, and remaining number of years of any mortgage secured by real property to
		  be included in the annual financial disclosure reports required to be filed
		  under such Act.</official-title>

		<section id="HA3A95407D0FC40F881DFF20AEA3EE072" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short Title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote>Financial Disclosure Integrity Act</quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H7E3B15BDA1194BF8A60E6B4B20F7C467" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Inclusion of
			 Information on Personal Residences in Annual Financial Disclosure
			 Reports</header>
			<subsection id="HF029ECCB855A49A1A633FD2A1E9BA1E7"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Inclusion of
			 Information on Mortgages</header>
				<paragraph id="HE7CE3472E50843D18D8E260BF5E1C1A2"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Amounts
			 owed</header><text>Section 102(a)(4) of the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 (5
			 U.S.C. App. 102(a)(4)) is amended by striking <quote>excluding—</quote> and all
			 that follows through <quote>which secures it</quote> and inserting the
			 following: <quote>excluding any loan secured by a personal motor vehicle,
			 household furniture, or appliances, which loan does not exceed the purchase
			 price of the item which secures it</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H76EB0E6AC4E84861B973D7DB0E049BB4"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Additional
			 information</header><text>Section 102(a)(4) of such Act (5 U.S.C. App.
			 102(a)(4)) is amended by adding at the end the following: <quote>In the case of
			 a liability consisting of a mortgage secured by real property, the information
			 required to be reported under this paragraph shall also include the interest
			 rate applicable to payments made on the mortgage during the preceding calendar
			 year and the number of years (or portion thereof) remaining on the
			 mortgage.</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HEC5F8E67A27F4882A47E55E5A8C3B243"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Inclusion of
			 Information on Value of Property</header><text>Section 102(a)(5)(A) of such Act
			 (5 U.S.C. App. 102(a)(5)(A)) is amended by striking <quote>, other than
			 property used solely as a personal residence of the reporting individual or his
			 spouse</quote>.</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="H1AAD6EBC4BE14A5DAB3A0B85C221536A"><enum>3.</enum><header>Effective
			 Date</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The amendments made by
			 section 2 shall apply with respect to reports required to be filed under
			 section 101 of the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 on or after January 1,
			 2010.</text>
