		<official-title display="yes">To require the Secretary of the Interior to
		  conduct a study on the feasibility and suitability of constructing a storage
		  reservoir, outlet works, and a delivery system for the Tule River Indian Tribe
		  of the Tule River Reservation in the State of California to provide a water
		  supply for domestic, municipal, industrial, and agricultural purposes, and for
		  other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="H0AE22CE677FD42E1A487B4681FC000F2" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Tule River Tribe Water Development
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H13D981199DD34984BCF6AC6FDC539363"><enum>2.</enum><header>Water supply for
			 Tribe</header>
			<subsection id="H6F6C90C3F1D14C77B740E6F65E240A1"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Definitions</header><text>In
			 this section:</text>
				<paragraph id="H36D246168BFA4F078714F612E179A004"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The
			 term <term>Secretary</term> means the Secretary of the Interior, acting through
			 the Commissioner of Reclamation.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H80F8A35DBFCF4E50A44E6EE1B446FCEE"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Tribe</header><text>The
			 term <term>Tribe</term> means the Tule River Indian Tribe of the Tule River
			 Reservation in the State of California.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H5B2337C547084986B46D95CE3D4B7D23"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Study and report
			 on alternatives</header>
				<paragraph id="HF4409AD877F740AD89FE8D419CE0FC04"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Study</header><text>Not
			 later than 2 years after the date on which funds are made available under
			 paragraph (3), the Secretary shall complete a feasibility study to evaluate
			 alternatives (including alternatives for phase I reservoir storage of a
			 quantity of water of not more than 5,000 acre-feet) for the provision of a
			 domestic, commercial, municipal, industrial, and irrigation water supply for
			 the Tribe.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HA56144C274A84686BA796EF8CCB32300"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Report</header><text>On
			 completion of the study under subsection (a), the Secretary shall submit to the
			 Committee on Natural Resources of the House of Representatives and the
			 Committees on Energy and Natural Resources and Indian Affairs of the Senate a
			 report describing the results of the study.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H88E6B68DE68947EF8253FB5F009152A6"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Authorization of
			 appropriations</header><text>There is authorized to be appropriated to the
			 Secretary $3,000,000 to carry out this subsection.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HE5064DA95A1445A5AFE6AC155C057FD0"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Conditions for
			 future projects</header>
				<paragraph id="H3F0EC7B85E6942B5A303D4EE55225256"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">No project
			 constructed relating to the feasibility study under subsection (b) shall
			 provide any water supply for—</text>
					<subparagraph id="H0E33D4250FDD48A589251B7D99C7A6FE"><enum>(A)</enum><text>the casino of the
			 Tule River Tribe, as in existence on the date of enactment of this Act;</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HE384AB0D389B49CD83066295DAFB213B"><enum>(B)</enum><text>any expansion of
			 that casino;</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HC02CEB19CE514CF1829E5DA370A67EAD"><enum>(C)</enum><text>any other tribal
			 casino; or</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HA962B161F7AF4118AF00F0D79BE79E"><enum>(D)</enum><text>any current or
			 future lodging, dining, entertainment, meeting space, parking, or other similar
			 facility in support of a gaming activity.</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="HC3A88F7889FB4F7E95517707CB057605"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Availability of
			 water supplies</header><text>A water supply provided by a project constructed
			 relating to the feasibility study under subsection (b) shall be available to
			 serve—</text>
					<subparagraph id="H5B61B475E159439B9E8FEC00A27F29B9"><enum>(A)</enum><text>the domestic,
			 municipal, and governmental (including firefighting) needs of the Tribe and
			 members of the Tribe; and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H2B18E7311539430A88EEFE415D9F54C0"><enum>(B)</enum><text>other commercial,
			 agricultural, and industrial needs not related to a gaming activity.</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body>
