		<section id="HE299AA73F30244858B31418461236B15" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Permanent Internet Tax Freedom Act of
			 2009</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H58A3979F576E472EA657385864F7A1D4"><enum>2.</enum><header>Permanent
			 moratorium on Internet access taxes and multiple and discriminatory taxes on
			 electronic commerce</header>
			<subsection id="H83E05F33EBBC4C839406D697CA004F59"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 General</header><text>Section 1101(a) of the Internet Tax Freedom Act (47
			 U.S.C. 151 note) is amended by striking <quote>taxes during the period
			 beginning November 1, 2003, and ending November 1, 2014:</quote> and inserting
			 <quote>taxes:</quote>.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H45594D0EB7264537A7C4EEC3094B6416"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective
			 Date</header><text>The amendment made by this section shall apply to taxes
			 imposed after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text>
