<subsection id="HAF59FCDDB8DB488090145256837C1421"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 1 of the Act entitled <quote>An Act to extend temporarily certain authorities of the Small Business Administration</quote>, approved October 10, 2006 (Public Law 109-316; 120 Stat. 1742), as most recently amended by section 1 of Public Law 110-235 (122 Stat. 1552), is amended by striking <quote>March 20, 2009</quote> in each place it appears and inserting <quote>July 31, 2009</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H5D42F61BC47C493195937A6239F86F35"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendment made by subsection (a) shall take effect on March 19, 2009.</text></subsection></section>
