		<section id="H42E616D89B11441D80ABE63644B65573" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Visiting NIH Senior
			 Neuroscience Fellowship Program</header>
			<subsection id="HCC5A7EC4E85C4C68997288F21981A0B4"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Authority To
			 establish</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary of
			 Defense may establish a program to be known as the Visiting NIH Senior
			 Neuroscience Fellowship Program at—</text>
				<paragraph id="H51651FCFF6904BB5A70143A84DAE5964"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the Defense
			 Advanced Research Projects Agency; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H5DCAE3EE6DA046CC97D9E39BDA9597BA"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the Defense Center
			 of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H82169B54F0A34E96A6591E3C56ADD33E"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Activities of
			 the Program</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In establishing
			 the Visiting NIH Senior Neuroscience Fellowship Program under subsection (a),
			 the Secretary shall require the program to—</text>
				<paragraph id="HFDBC93730C4B43FEA68F82E052C335E2"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">provide a partnership between the National
			 Institutes of Health and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to
			 enable identification and funding of the broadest range of innovative, highest
			 quality clinical and experimental neuroscience studies for the benefit of
			 members of the Armed Forces;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H4D99B794CCCB4839B85ECBEF98F2C7DC"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">provide a partnership between the National
			 Institutes of Health and the Defense Center of Excellence for Psychological
			 Health and Traumatic Brain Injury that will enable identification and funding
			 of clinical and experimental neuroscience studies for the benefit of members of
			 the Armed Forces;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H6FF55D7DA2B64D07A2F4A8001C7C67D9"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">use the results of the studies described in
			 paragraph (1) and (2) to enhance the mission of the National Institutes of
			 Health for the benefit of the public; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HC81424A02F9846C397FF6E95728541F5"><enum>(4)</enum><text>provide a military
			 and civilian collaborative environment for neuroscience-based medical
			 problem-solving in critical areas affecting both military and civilian life,
			 particularly post-traumatic stress disorder.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body>
