		<section id="H259A065096A341459B80ADDB75EBC77" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety
			 Reauthorization Act of 2009</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H8CC4BD0020D544FAA267E83EBB4169B"><enum>2.</enum><header>Reauthorization of
			 child protection programs under the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act
			 of 2006</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Adam Walsh Child
			 Protection and Safety Act of 2006 (42 U.S.C. 16901 et seq.) is amended as
			 follows:</text>
			<paragraph id="HEBD29D40903C49CBBA326C011DDD400"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Sex offender
			 management assistance (SOMA) program</header><text>Section 126(d) of such Act
			 (42 U.S.C. 16926(d)) is amended by striking <quote>2007 through 2009</quote>
			 and inserting <quote>2010 through 2014</quote>.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H6919074F5CA74EDCBCBD129E1C8D03C"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Federal
			 assistance with respect to violations of registration
			 requirements</header><text>Section 142(b) of such Act (42 U.S.C. 16941(b)) is
			 amended by striking <quote>2007 through 2009</quote> and inserting <quote>2010
			 through 2014</quote>.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H4B9C2396655C4627B1ED5D2610413D09"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Pilot program
			 for monitoring sexual offenders</header><text>Section 621(c) (42 U.S.C. 16981)
			 of such Act is amended—</text>
				<subparagraph id="H2DFD4BD233764FA0973811F4D6055A6"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in paragraph (1),
			 by striking <quote>2007 through 2009</quote> and inserting <quote>2010 through
			 2014</quote>; and</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H4637832878714C74AFDDF2237CC25B1"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in paragraph (2),
			 by inserting <quote>and after September 1, 2014, but not later than September
			 1, 2015</quote> after <quote>September 1, 2010,</quote>.</text>
				</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="H18A4CEB9882D4AAB00503C59B920E8FD"><enum>(4)</enum><header>Grants to combat
			 sexual abuse of children</header><text>Section 625(d) of such Act (42 U.S.C.
			 16983(d)) is amended by striking <quote>2007 through 2009</quote> and inserting
			 <quote>2010 through 2014</quote>.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H87EA32F2DF9A45878617E134652F3D57"><enum>(5)</enum><header>Jessica Lunsford
			 address verification grant program</header><text>Section 631(e) of such Act (42
			 U.S.C. 16988(e)) is amended—</text>
				<subparagraph id="H40A740FB42224D649556FBF5FB27AD76"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in paragraph (1),
			 by striking <quote>2007 through 2009</quote> and inserting <quote>2010 through
			 2014</quote>; and</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H00E550D2B81C4BBF97D8C41152287294"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in paragraph (2),
			 by inserting <quote>and after April 1, 2014, but not later than April 1,
			 2015,</quote> after <quote>April 1, 2009,</quote>.</text>
				</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="HE88F68CE7D5E48B099C6007162C47F1C"><enum>(6)</enum><header>Fugitive safe
			 surrender</header><text>Section 632(c) of such Act (42 U.S.C. 16989(c)) is
			 amended by striking <quote>this section—</quote> and all that follows through
			 the period and inserting <quote>this section $8,000,000 for each of the fiscal
			 years 2009 through 2014.</quote>.</text>
			</paragraph></section><section id="H3ACDC29DF7014EEF81244BAB6000E28B"><enum>3.</enum><header>Reauthorization
			 of sex offender apprehension grants and juvenile sex offender treatment
			 grants</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Part KK of title I of
			 the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (as added by section 623
			 of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006 and redesignated by
			 section 114(1) of Public Law 110–199 (122 Stat. 677)), relating to sex offender
			 apprehension grants; juvenile sex offender treatment grants, is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="HB3AAF946D1674323BD95F7AB848805AC"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in section 3011(b)
			 (42 U.S.C. 3797ee(b)), by striking <quote>2007 through 2009</quote> and
			 inserting <quote>2010 through 2014</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H7258CD4CBA5D4A4000AE2CBA21D7D72E"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in section 3012(c)
			 (42 U.S.C. 3797ee–1(c)), by striking <quote>2007 through 2009</quote> and
			 inserting <quote>2010 through 2014</quote>.</text>
