		  to enter into a partnership with the Porter County Convention, Recreation and
		  Visitor Commission regarding the use of the Dorothy Buell Memorial Visitor
		  Center as a visitor center for the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, and for
		  other purposes.</official-title>

		<section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HCDF4DCF622C3404481A61E6B0029DAE2" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Dorothy Buell Memorial Visitor
			 Center</header>
			<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HEFA6C1D84C5E43938C70ABC9A0CE9E37"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Short title</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">This section may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Dorothy Buell Memorial Visitor Center
			 Partnership Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H55AF7CF61C074E3CAEFCFEE1F4031DDD"><enum>(b)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Memorandum of understanding</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary of the Interior may enter
			 into a memorandum of understanding to establish a joint partnership with the
			 Porter County Convention, Recreation and Visitor Commission. The memorandum of
			 understanding shall—</text>
				<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H25183D7E5FBF402D8B184BCF626817DA"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">identify the overall goals and purpose of
			 the Dorothy Buell Memorial Visitor Center;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H7E3DE6495DA34E25997E002C146BD8A3"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">establish how management and operational
			 duties will be shared;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H3D0500065B0942CEAD4BB29056F2DB11"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">determine how exhibits, signs, and other
			 information are developed;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H4EBB9C40B87A4E6D9F094D3D8DA90965"><enum>(4)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">indicate how various activities will be
			 funded;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H048D146B06844B629E794FB033942DFF"><enum>(5)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">identify who is responsible for providing
			 site amenities;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H7D8570380B4B497EAD4DF969C4E9B047"><enum>(6)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">establish procedures for changing or
			 dissolving the joint partnership; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HF15CA025F3EE46BCBE5274F47EFDA1D4"><enum>(7)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">address any other issues deemed necessary
			 by the Secretary or the Porter County Convention, Recreation and Visitor
			 Commission.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H3CC81D1799E84532B0921E924C17537C"><enum>(c)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Development of Exhibits</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary may plan, design, construct,
			 and install exhibits in the Dorothy Buell Memorial Visitor Center related to
			 the use and management of the resources at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, at
			 a cost not to exceed $1,500,000.</text>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H1816918D323E4D01A68759C260C8C6D7"><enum>(d)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">National lakeshore presence</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary may use park staff from
			 Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore in the Dorothy Buell Memorial Visitor Center
			 to provide visitor information and education.</text>
			</subsection></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HFB3D0D6B1EA548C18D15FF376D501CA" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Indiana Dunes National
			 Lakeshore</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 19 of the
			 Act entitled <quote>An Act to provide for the establishment of the Indiana
			 Dunes National Lakeshore, and for other purposes</quote> (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/460u-19">16 U.S.C.
			 460u–19</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H0E40F1D970A44DFCA8DD63242DFD271F"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by striking <quote>After notifying</quote>
			 and inserting <quote>(a) After notifying</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H21BC0EA198EE45178114C679FCF31790"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by adding at the end the following:</text>

					<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H053B3520907E4B7C9C613191CFD0974D"><enum>(b)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Contiguous clarified</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">For purposes of subsection (a), lands may
				be considered contiguous to other lands if the lands touch the other lands, or
				are separated from the other lands by only a public or private right-of-way,
				such as a road, railroad, or utility
				corridor.</text>
