		  reauthorize the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program for fiscal years 2010

		<section id="H9F222765D3484B40A009AB01C8000078" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Homeless Veterans Reintegration
			 Program Reauthorization Act of 2009</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H70138FB2C3A04C8BAFEF4138E99FE65"><enum>2.</enum><header>Reauthorization of
			 appropriations for Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/2021">Section
			 2021(e)(1)(F)</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, is amended by
			 striking <quote>2009</quote> and inserting <quote>2014</quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HDE725A98A2134603AC59910AAE058B3D"><enum>3.</enum><header>Homeless women
			 veterans and homeless veterans with children reintegration grant
			 program</header>
			<subsection id="H1A545F05186D4CBCBBF93A071D5424E6"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Grant
			 program</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/38/20">Chapter
			 20</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, is amended by inserting
			 after <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/2021">section
			 2021</external-xref> the following new section:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H298B9E2F4E7346DCAB1D407A8D9355B9" style="USC">
					<section id="HE367083B44C94499974AFB3EAA948B80"><enum>2021A.</enum><header>Homeless
				women veterans and homeless veterans with children reintegration grant
				program</header>
						<subsection id="H83CAB4EAB1EA48499FB6CE0FD7E99F57"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Grants</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subject to the availability of
				appropriations provided for such purpose, the Secretary of Labor shall make
				grants to program and facilities that the Secretary determines provide
				dedicated services for homeless women veterans and homeless veterans with
				children.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="HA1103444CA8B45FDB2024008EADA7BC3"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Use of
				funds</header><text>Grants under this section shall be used to provide job
				training, counseling, placement services (including job readiness and literacy
				and skills training) and child care services to expedite the reintegration of
				homeless women veterans and homeless veterans with children into the labor
				force.</text>
						</subsection><subsection commented="no" id="H54634847F41E43619E046B80948E311A"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Requirement To
				Monitor Expenditures of Funds</header><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H96020B340429458A9CBB6297F8C58FF3"><enum>(1)</enum><text>The Secretary of Labor
				shall collect such information as that Secretary considers appropriate to
				monitor and evaluate the distribution and expenditure of funds appropriated to
				carry out this section. The information shall include data with respect to the
				results or outcomes of the services provided to each homeless veteran under
				this section.</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="HC8801EE7970A4BBC9785008226E56A69" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Information under paragraph (1) shall
				be furnished in such form and manner as the Secretary of Labor may
				specify.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" id="H2457944AD9CB486BA4B44562CD0FF8BC"><enum>(d)</enum><header> Administration
				Through the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Veterans' Employment and
				Training</header><text>The Secretary of Labor shall carry out this section
				through the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Veterans' Employment and
				Training.</text>
						</subsection><subsection commented="no" id="HE6FDD2C2A77246B29701BC438E3ABF56"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Biennial Report
				to Congress</header><text>The Secretary of Labor shall include as part of the
				report required under section 2021(d) of this title an evaluation of the grant
				program under this section, which shall include an evaluation of services
				furnished to veterans under this section and an analysis of the information
				collected under subsection (c).</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="H1C564557862D4355BE1A59BCCE0F5225"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Authorization of
				Appropriations</header><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H104C61309B7C483FAA2FFA94BDF3A217"><enum>(1)</enum><text>In addition to any
				amount authorized to be appropriated to carry out section 2021 of this title,
				there is authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section $10,000,000
				for each of fiscal years 2010 through 2014.</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="HD9C87BBD022848F892ADBAE2B66CD9A5" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Funds appropriated to carry out this
				section shall remain available until expended. Funds obligated in any fiscal
				year to carry out this section may be expended in that fiscal year and the
				succeeding fiscal
				year.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="HFA87D276EFDA4D94970495EC67454271"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical
			 amendment</header><text>The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter
			 is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 2021 the following
			 new item:</text>
