		<official-title display="yes">To permit the collection of donations in
		  Senate buildings to be sent to United States military personnel on active duty
		  overseas participating in or in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation
		  Enduring Freedom, and the war on terrorism.</official-title>

			 United States military personnel</header>
			<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id03E8859835DA4EE8B41E3C7FADAD02F7"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding any
			 other provision of the rules or regulations of the Senate—</text>
				<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="IDD537C378C92F4ACF92C1B46B727369BC"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">a Senator, officer, or employee of the
			 Senate may collect from another Senator, officer, or employee of the Senate
			 within Senate buildings nonmonetary donations to be sent to United States
			 military personnel on active duty overseas participating in or in support of
			 Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and the war on terrorism;
			 and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID757611FF6D5A4453822E000FB22CEC94"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">a Senator, officer, or employee of the
			 Senate may work with a nonprofit organization with respect to the delivery of
			 donations that are collected as described in paragraph (1).</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id03D1BEEE25CA41EEA436DA39DF63A033"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective
			 period</header><text>This resolution shall be in effect until December 31,
			 2007.</text>
