		<official-title display="yes">To authorize the Secretary of the Interior
		  to conduct feasibility studies to address certain water shortages within the
		  Snake, Boise, and Payette River systems in the State of Idaho, and for other
		  purposes.</official-title>

			 feasibility studies</header>
			<subsection id="H76F37F2A03974CB68E7B825CDA310023"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary of the
			 Interior, acting through the Bureau of Reclamation, may conduct feasibility
			 studies on projects that address water shortages within the Snake, Boise, and
			 Payette River systems in the State of Idaho, and are considered appropriate for
			 further study by the Bureau of Reclamation Boise Payette water storage
			 assessment report issued during 2006.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="id13FD45FA939F466F8AB99FB6CD391D28"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Bureau of
			 Reclamation</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A study conducted
			 under this section shall comply with Bureau of Reclamation policy standards and
			 guidelines for studies.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="HA454D71C03DA4A34BE8200DECC998BDF"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Authorization of
			 appropriations</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">There is
			 authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of the Interior to carry out
			 this section $3,000,000.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H5B74643EDF974B53BD576EBDBC6D3122"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Termination of
			 effectiveness</header><text>The authority provided by this section terminates
			 on the date that is 10 years after the date of enactment of this Act.</text>
