		<official-title>To revise the boundary of the Carl Sandburg Home National
		  Historic Site in the State of North Carolina, and for other
		  purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short
			 title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as
			 the <quote><short-title>Carl Sandburg Home National
			 Historic Site Boundary Revision Act of 2007</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="id31EF61E761994A62BD9CC58D79239D54"><enum>2.</enum><header>Carl sandburg
			 home national historic site boundary revision</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Public Law 90–592 (16 U.S.C. 461 note; 82
			 Stat. 1154) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="id7977B8A263D94B588A9F661C7894763E"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by redesignating
			 section 3 as section 4; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="idEBE5F617C7314123A69BB13F6FBA6EAD"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting
			 after section 2 the following:</text>

					<section id="id2BD9551AEF6146F9AD65780160BC2413"><enum>3.</enum><header>Acquisition of
				additional land</header>
						<subsection id="idF60EB295AF614997B9DD5BC33DEA637D"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
				general</header><text>The Secretary of the Interior (referred to in this
				section as the <quote>Secretary</quote>) may acquire from willing sellers by
				donation or purchase with donated or appropriated funds not more than 115 acres
				of land (including any improvements to the land) or interests (including
				conservation easements) in land contiguous to the Carl Sandburg Home National
				Historic Site (referred to in this section as the <quote>Historic Site</quote>)
				for inclusion in the Historic Site.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="id511A8238EEA14E5CA1B511132215F129"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Visitor
				center</header><text>Not more than 5 acres of land acquired under subsection
				(a) may be used for—</text>
							<paragraph id="idA69D4EC5B8264F47A9265405B78F8531"><enum>(1)</enum><text>a visitor and
				education center; and</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="id9F30F995D4EB43F893E18B07DA85713E"><enum>(2)</enum><text>a visitor parking
				area.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="ID7bafa5d0722a4bc492635debe64cd334"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Boundary
				revision</header><text>On acquisition of any land or interest in land under
				subsection (a), the Secretary shall revise the boundary of the Historic Site to
				reflect the acquisition.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="ID4d2f48b514234c98a8910c0331b1c7b7"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Administration</header><text>Any
				land acquired by the Secretary under subsection (a) shall be administered by
				the Secretary as part of the Historic Site.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="id4C7755906B894583B478F716A455613B"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Applicable
				law</header><text>Sections 302, 303, and 304 of the National Parks and
				Recreation Act of 1978 (Public Law 95–625; 92 Stat. 3467) shall apply to the
				acquisition of land under subsection (a) and the boundary revision under
				subsection (c), except that the reference in section 302 of that Act to the
				date of enactment shall be considered to be a reference to the date of
				enactment of the Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site Boundary Revision
				Act of
				2007.</text>
