		<official-title>To amend the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act to
		  require approval by the Congress for certain expenditures for the Troubled
		  Asset Relief Program.</official-title>

		<section id="id4E46F8E531AF4AEA9312761A331E2C98" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Approval required for TARP
			 obligations</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 115 of the
			 Emergency Economic Stabilization Act (Public Law 110–343) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="idBCCAECE08F3B4106978171D0D9B61B08"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subsection (a)(3)—</text>
				<subparagraph id="idB68D5DCCA09149C6BFD6EC099BA30E5D"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by striking <quote>unless there is enacted,
			 within 15 calendar days of</quote> and inserting <quote>until there is enacted,
			 not later than 15 calendar days after</quote>; and</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="id27D4DD8C84B84208BECC2E2A436F13FB"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>, effective upon the expiration of such 15-day period,</quote>;
			 and</text>
				</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="idF5B6B1931DF044B49242B804065091C8"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection
			 (c)—</text>
				<subparagraph id="id7ED0E2B012FF4A03A45908CC525CAACA"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in the subsection
			 heading, by striking <quote><header-in-text level="subsection" style="OLC">Disapproval</header-in-text></quote> and inserting
			 <quote><header-in-text level="subsection" style="OLC">Approval</header-in-text></quote>; and</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="idCF287228C39C44B5B12F26CDD25656C3"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in paragraph
			 (1)—</text>
					<clause id="idE6B639AA9BEA4A62879DAA7A8D1D2834"><enum>(i)</enum><text>by
			 striking <quote>in excess of $350,000,000,000 previously obligated</quote> and
			 inserting the following: <quote>authorized under paragraph (1), (2), or (3), of
			 subsection (a) that is not obligated, as of November 14, 2008,</quote>
			 and</text>
					</clause><clause id="id6CF9C554359D4D0FBABCABB49D212645"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>by
			 striking <quote>disapproving</quote> and inserting
			 <quote>approving</quote>;</text>
					</clause></subparagraph><subparagraph id="id7E847BD6E1344EC0808E0863B421E548"><enum>(C)</enum><text>in paragraph
			 (2)(C), by striking <quote>disapproval</quote> and inserting
			 <quote>approval</quote>; and</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="id1C8F1D8DB15F4238B5256F3473DAD1E6"><enum>(D)</enum><text>in paragraph
			 (2)(D), by striking <quote>disapproves</quote> and inserting
			 <quote>approves</quote>.</text>
