		<official-title>To prohibit government-sponsored enterprises from making
		  lobbying expenditures, political contributions, or other certain
		  contributions.</official-title>

	<legis-body>
		<section id="idC301C959613F44C3ABB01E928CA7F3E1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Prohibition on lobbying,
			 political contributions, and contributions to nonprofit public policy
			 organizations</header>
			<subsection id="id32A5493EAC224E27A177BB227276656A"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Prohibition on
			 lobbying expenditures and certain contributions</header><text>An enterprise may
			 not make—</text>
				<paragraph id="idC7AC284ADFCA47F1B5526D978D7D2144"><enum>(1)</enum><text>lobbying
			 expenditures;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="id43174039D9F049678C0D65997C925903"><enum>(2)</enum><text>political
			 contributions; or</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="idDABA3116F03D47398BB89CC94D5A7C9B"><enum>(3)</enum><text>contributions to
			 any organization described under section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code of
			 1986.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="idDC87DB5F8B0C4EF0A308286A381BECF5"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Definition</header><text>In
			 this section—</text>
				<paragraph id="id8D2F91A7CE34468EAA8AFB14AA24CC50"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the term
			 <quote>enterprise</quote> shall have the same meaning given such term in
			 section 1303 of the Federal Housing Enterprises Financial Safety and Soundness
			 Act of 1992 (12 U.S.C. 4502);</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="id019A701565FB4798AA432DD804A26AD9"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the term
			 <quote>lobbying expenditures</quote> shall have the same meaning given such
			 term in section 4911(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="idC8D3B54BCF9C4A99AE1DBD1077A67B9D"><enum>(3)</enum><text>the term
			 <term>political contributions</term> means any contribution on behalf of a
			 political candidate or to a separate segregated fund described in section
			 316(b)(2)(C) of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 (2 U.S.C.
			 441b(b)(2)(C)).</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id678F5262E32E41DCA16B8C15051BE4CB"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Penalties</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Violations of this section shall constitute
			 violations of section 1352(a) of title 31, United States Code.</text>
