		<official-title>To direct the Federal Trade Commission to prescribe a
		  rule prohibiting deceptive advertising of abortion services, and for other
		  purposes.</official-title>

		<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H812C276849564870BADA19ECF9D16D0" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Stop Deceptive Advertising for Women’s
			 Services Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H6FA6B2B17E3D4EFF8E00D5D33C49ED16"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition of
			 deceptive advertising of abortion services</header>
			<subsection id="HF6E227E28FCA494DBECFD0C4EC2BDAD9"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Conduct
			 prohibited</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 180
			 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Federal Trade Commission
			 shall promulgate rules to prohibit, as an unfair and deceptive act or practice,
			 any person from advertising with the intent to deceptively create the
			 impression that such person is a provider of abortion services if such person
			 does not provide abortion services.</text>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H865FC8C9ADEB4B9BAEA8BB5C007DFE00"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Enforcement</header><text>The
			 Federal Trade Commission shall enforce the rules required under subsection (a)
			 as if a violation of such rules were a violation of section 5(a)(1) of the
			 Federal Trade Commission Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/45">15 U.S.C. 45(a)(1)</external-xref>). The Commission
			 shall enforce such rules in the same manner and by the same means, powers, and
			 duties as though all applicable terms and provisions of the Federal Trade
			 Commission Act were incorporated into and made a part of this Act.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H82B99F60AD4D42F9994FA77E1D98E12C"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this section:</text>
				<paragraph id="HCDA3D01C82F142C883A4EC2946823A6"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Advertise</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <term>advertise</term> means the
			 offering of goods or services to the public, regardless of whether such goods
			 or services are offered for payment or result in a profit.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H9F60DCBA5EA548C9B126B95E27816096"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Abortion
			 services</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term
			 <term>abortion services</term> means the provision of surgical and non-surgical
			 procedures to terminate a pregnancy, or the provision of referrals for such
			 procedures.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HD301555621904E4683903F7B66494510"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Person</header><text>The
			 term <term>person</term> has the meaning given such term in
			 <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/5/551">section
			 551</external-xref> of title 5, United States Code.</text>
