		<section id="H85405CC83E4D475B99DCB406F00302A4" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Pisgah National Forest Boundary
			 Adjustment Act of 2007</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HBE5F8269F4644F39BB62AE41CDA63C13"><enum>2.</enum><header>Boundary
			 adjustment, Pisgah National Forest, North Carolina</header>
			<subsection id="H2E8DC7EDA1E04C48B7950030E2D859A3"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Boundary
			 adjustment</header>
				<paragraph id="idCD1CE0A65F4B4B06BD502B32E67542F4"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The boundaries of the
			 Pisgah National Forest (referred to in this Act as the <quote>Forest</quote>)
			 in McDowell County, North Carolina, are modified to include the parcel of land
			 described in paragraph (2).</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="idEFF473EF4A124A7884A1871F15FFD57F"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Description of
			 land</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The land referred to in
			 paragraph (1) is the parcel of approximately 335 acres of land, of which
			 approximately 239 acres are owned by the United States and administered by the
			 Forest Service, as generally depicted on the map entitled <quote>Proposed
			 Proclamation Boundary Change, Grandfather Ranger District, Pisgah National
			 Forest</quote> and more particularly delineated and described in the final
			 boundary adjustment map and boundary description prepared by the Forest
			 Service.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HDE00469FF453469EA2A4BD000005FF6F"><enum>(b)</enum><header> Maps</header>
				<paragraph id="id395E858757B34AB0B99373B917E698B0"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Availability</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The maps referred to in subsection (a)(2)
			 shall be on file and available for public inspection in the Office of the
			 Regional Forester, Atlanta, Georgia.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="idA76EA723BCDD4CBA8DD23DEA5F23BCE2"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Corrections</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary of Agriculture (referred to
			 in this Act as the <quote>Secretary</quote>) may make minor corrections to the
			 maps referred to in subsection (a)(2).</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id9416BC14E4D04706A56FF5FBC02C01A8"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Acquisition of
			 private land</header><text>Subject to the availability of appropriations to
			 carry out this subsection and the consent of the owner of private land included
			 within the modified boundary of the Forest under subsection (a)(1), the
			 Secretary shall acquire the private land.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H6489BDABEF9E4598B334F6825718EEF5"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Management of
			 acquired land</header>
				<paragraph id="id9466D076D46E41089DF98F88FCF04BC4"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Any federally owned land that is acquired for National
			 Forest System purposes within the boundaries of the Forest, as modified by
			 subsection (a)(1), shall be managed—</text>
					<subparagraph id="id8CC6A82097CE453C926F59488388B6F1"><enum>(A)</enum><text>as land acquired
			 under the Act of March 1, 1911 (commonly known as the <quote>Weeks Law</quote>)
			 (16 U.S.C. 480 et seq.); and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="idE1A8124ED9A24467B9EC71DA25BBE32B"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in accordance
			 with the other laws (including regulations) relating to the National Forest
			 System.</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="id44853C3A3690446AA39069B1A126A55A"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Effect</header><text>Nothing
			 in this subsection limits the authority of the Secretary to adjust the
			 boundaries of the Forest under sections 10 and 11 of the Act of March 1, 1911
			 (commonly known as the <quote>Weeks Law</quote>) (16 U.S.C. 519, 521).</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H2CDAB6D4DE804A96B774A9F8F448A325"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Relation to Land
			 and Water Conservation Fund Act</header><text>For purposes of section 7 of the
			 Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 (16 U.S.C. 460l–9), the boundaries
			 of the Forest, as modified by subsection (a)(1), shall be considered to be the
			 boundaries of the Forest as of January 1, 1965.</text>
