		<section id="id6FB49969488B4305932D0EA74B19AFAF" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Coffman Cove Administrative Site
			 Conveyance Act of 2007</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="IDAFC74C6388C242AB9125E52378109111"><enum>2.</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In this Act:</text>
			<paragraph id="IDC8222DA68C9045AC9C29D0162CB11D33"><enum>(1)</enum><header>City</header><text>The
			 term <term>City</term> means the city of Coffman Cove, Alaska.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="IDD190905980D747AF9AF7386A3B10268C"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The
			 term <term>Secretary</term> means the Secretary of Agriculture.</text>
			</paragraph></section><section id="ID8B16068AAF4D4FC08CA8BC1F82C73EC6"><enum>3.</enum><header>Conveyance</header>
			<subsection id="ID08A2BC1C9D5F4CB580806ABC87737C52"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 General</header><text>Subject to valid existing rights, the Secretary shall
			 convey to the City, without consideration and by quitclaim deed all right,
			 title, and interest of the United States, except as provided in subsections (c)
			 and (d), in and to the parcel of National Forest System land described in
			 subsection (b).</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="ID2182ABF4F1E941C3BCF52A1A3F012262"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Description of
			 Land</header>
				<paragraph id="IDD7981D9011914DE486249254E64101DD"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>The parcel of National Forest System land referred to in
			 subsection (a) is the approximately 12 acres of land identified in U.S. Survey
			 10099, as depicted on the plat entitled <quote>Subdivision of U.S. Survey No.
			 10099</quote> and recorded as Plat 2003–1 on January 21, 2003, Petersburg
			 Recording District, Alaska.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="IDCEBA4B962454455E94DA27798E426F4F"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Excluded
			 land</header><text>The parcel of National Forest System land conveyed under
			 subsection (a) does not include the portion of U.S. Survey 10099 that is north
			 of the right-of-way for Forest Development Road 3030–295 and southeast of Tract
			 CC–8.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="ID6E9110CBBDF14BF88513082C2E5738EA"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Right-of-Way</header><text>The
			 United States may reserve a right-of-way to provide access to the National
			 Forest System land excluded from the conveyance to the City under subsection
			 (b)(2).</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="IDFD7B8E53274545F490975D1DAEF53909"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Reversion</header><text>If
			 any portion of the land conveyed under subsection (a) (other than a portion of
			 land sold under subsection (e)) ceases to be used for public purposes, the land
			 shall, at the option of the Secretary, revert to the United States.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="IDBACBFF4B3F0947828E0DC934342DD231"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Conditions on
			 Subsequent Conveyances</header><text>If the City sells any portion of the land
			 conveyed to the City under subsection (a)—</text>
				<paragraph id="IDE11BB85F53C840A89846A6FC2E55B95E"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the amount of
			 consideration for the sale shall reflect fair market value, as determined by an
			 appraisal; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="ID39086A16C332412797AFA4068427940E"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the City shall
			 pay to the Secretary an amount equal to the gross proceeds of the sale, which
			 shall be available, without further appropriation, for the Tongass National
			 Forest.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body>
