		<official-title display="yes">Honoring the Armed Forces from the Inland
		  Empire in California and their families for their extraordinary sacrifices
		  serving the United States in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi
		  Freedom.</official-title>

	<preamble>
		<whereas><text>Whereas the Armed Forces includes all branches of the
			 military, including the National Guard and Reserves;</text>
		</whereas><whereas><text>Whereas more than 1,700,000 members of the Armed Forces
			 have been deployed in Operation Enduring Freedom or Operation Iraqi Freedom
			 since September 2001;</text>
		</whereas><whereas><text>Whereas over 450 Californians have died in Afghanistan and
			 Iraq, many of whom were from the communities of the Inland Empire;</text>
		</whereas><whereas><text>Whereas over 3,300 Californians have been wounded in
			 battle in Afghanistan and Iraq, many of whom are from the communities of the
			 Inland Empire;</text>
		</whereas><whereas><text>Whereas both physical and mental injuries sustained during
			 combat have a life-altering impact on those who served our Nation, as well as
			 their families;</text>
		</whereas><whereas><text>Whereas members of the Armed Forces from the Inland Empire
			 have been killed and injured in operations to bring peace and stability, in the
			 name of democracy;</text>
		</whereas><whereas><text>Whereas the Inland Empire region of southern California
			 includes San Bernardino County and Riverside County; and</text>
		</whereas><whereas><text>Whereas members of the Armed Forces from the Inland Empire
			 have served honorably in their mission to fight terrorism and protect the
			 greater security of the United States: Now, therefore, be it</text>

	<resolution-body id="H09BAFC864E524924BEEE00DCDD4484D3" style="traditional">
		<section display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H67A88FC84AAF4ACBAE6FF7D095799448" section-type="undesignated-section"><enum></enum><text>That the House of
			 Representatives—</text>
			<paragraph id="H92E83E1B8A164693B25EA250A8860066"><enum>(1)</enum><text>recognizes that
			 the members of the Armed Forces from the Inland Empire gave, and continue to
			 give, to our Nation;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HD0EA8E5DEB81433F895727A600CF4419"><enum>(2)</enum><text>commits to
			 providing wounded warriors with the highest quality of medical care available,
			 including for their families during the recovery process;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H3B085274F8FB4DDBA49297EC00A7AED8"><enum>(3)</enum><text>commends the
			 actions of private citizens and organizations from the Inland Empire who
			 volunteer to support America’s wounded warriors;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HD215B61BE5364C5AB5A96F1657412939"><enum>(4)</enum><text>encourages Members
			 and all citizens to take steps to show support and appreciation for all
			 returning troops;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H4BB4B46DD7F440F69300425EF156233"><enum>(5)</enum><text>honors and
			 recognizes the sacrifices made by the members of the Armed Forces from the
			 Inland Empire, and that of their families; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H0BBDBDD6020249FD9C0095E8E7912929"><enum>(6)</enum><text>understands that
			 the American people are forever grateful to the members of the Armed Forces
			 from the Inland Empire for the service they have provided to the United
			 States.</text>
