<section id="HE458CCD4859B4F6CAB7250BD5DCBD48E" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Digital Television Coupon Improvement Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section>
<section id="HE42C19A60B5948CF80AEDD2879466073"><enum>2.</enum><header>Coupon expiration extension</header> 
<subsection id="H70F278E2E78A479F9C6DBCEE7692794C"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Amendment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 3005(c)(1)(C) of the Digital Television Transition and Public Safety Act of 2005 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/109/171">Public Law 109–171</external-xref>; 120 Stat. 24) is amended to read as follows:</text> 
<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HF7F3FBC50031468EAD092788D8674E2F" style="OLC"> 
<subparagraph id="H66D8DA64E2B4463AA1203768007BEECF"><enum>(C)</enum><header>No expiration</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">All coupons issued under this section shall expire at the close of March 31, 2009.</text> </subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </subsection>
<subsection display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H08C49BAF895C433483C07BE7622E4DA"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective Date</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply to any coupon issued under section 3005 of Digital Television Transition and Public Safety Act of 2005 on or after the date enactment of such Act.</text> </subsection></section>
