		<official-title>To provide for the transportation of the remains of
		  members of the Armed Forces who died in a theater of combat operations when
		  those remains are subsequently recovered.</official-title>

		<section id="H0332274937B345C194AAF62D180712E" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Private First Class Billy MacLeod
			 Respectful Return Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HDD480C24C99B4F8993E14D6E221B2F06"><enum>2.</enum><header>Transportation of
			 remains of members of the Armed Forces who died in a theater of combat
			 operations</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 562(a) of
			 the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007 (Public
			 Law 109–364; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/10/1482">10 U.S.C. 1482</external-xref> note) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="HA5C656373BF44176B3AC3696F18FE360"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>In the case</quote> and inserting the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H4E0D86973DAA4CC99CDCA98673A92736" style="OLC">
					<paragraph id="H044B4594359D4DE5A18BA159ADD9AC78"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Current theaters
				of combat operations</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In the
				case</text>
					</paragraph><after-quoted-block>;
				and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H545E56E5982849F7913B2C9D4BC88CDA"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by adding at the
			 end the following new paragraph:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H014F9BEC7E5B4B1BB93199D0A730F7F" style="OLC">
					<paragraph id="H27F2B7A1F9A74EDEA1FB0827724ED986"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Transportation
				of remains from former theaters of combat operations</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">This section and section 1482(a)(8) of
				title 10, United States Code, shall also apply in the case of the remains of a
				member of the Armed Forces found after the date of the enactment of the
				<short-title>Private First Class Billy MacLeod Respectful
				Return Act</short-title> in any theater of combat operations of the Armed
				Forces since April 6, 1917, who died while participating in such operations.
				Such sections shall apply with respect to the remains in the same manner as if
				the remains were otherwise covered by section 1481 of such
				title.</text>
