<official-title>To clarify the authorities for the use of certain National Park Service properties within Golden Gate National Parks and San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park, and for other purposes.</official-title>

<section id="H72100D32F65847599B49F9376CA0DC82" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Golden gate national recreation area and san Francisco maritime national historical park technical corrections</header> 
<subsection id="H8B1C39CF1A6249708871D2B4BD8C46F4"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Golden gate national recreation area</header><text>Section 4(f) of the Act titled <quote>An Act to establish the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in the State of California, and for other purposes</quote> (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/92/589">Public Law 92–589</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/460bb-3">16 U.S.C. 460bb–3(f)</external-xref>) is amended to read as follows:</text> 
<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H341C9E1DD8AD49908100BD1508E6551C" style="OLC"> 
<subsection id="HC7C031E9578548DCA691F9271BEE9317"><enum>(f)</enum><text>The Secretary may enter into a concession contract pursuant to title IV of the National Parks Omnibus Management Act of 1998 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/5951">16 U.S.C. 5951 et seq.</external-xref>) or a lease pursuant to section 802 of that Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/1a">16 U.S.C. 1a–2</external-xref>) for the parcels of property known as Cliff House Properties and Louis’ Restaurant. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any proceeds from the use of such property shall be available until expended, without further appropriation, for the administration, maintenance, repair, and related expenses of those properties and for major renovation and park rehabilitation of those buildings included in the Fort Mason Foundation Agreement.</text> </subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </subsection>
<subsection id="HAA7EDAD1758B4B5E8C6CB43BF7694295"><enum>(b)</enum><header>San Francisco maritime national historical park</header> 
<paragraph id="HB1757F869F4B47AD9531D67768D4C146"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Leasing</header><text>Section 3(c) of the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park Act of 1988 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/100/348">Public Law 100–348</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/410nn-1">16 U.S.C. 410nn–1(c)</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<subparagraph id="HB629BED84A1640AA9800003F86E5CB84"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in the first sentence, by striking <quote>any real or personal property, including</quote> and inserting <quote>any real or personal property, including the Haslett Warehouse and</quote>; and</text> </subparagraph>
<subparagraph id="H7A70E7CB4F2F4199A0C0764C748E0559"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by striking the second sentence and inserting <quote>Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any proceeds from the lease of such property shall be available until expended, without further appropriation, for the administration, maintenance, repair, and related expenses of the leased property and the vessels, equipment, piers, and other assets within the park.</quote>.</text> </subparagraph></paragraph>
<paragraph id="HD7ACC63B4DAE4D7AA53C2BE8A64623AE"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Fees</header><text>Section 3(d) of the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park Act of 1988 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/100/348">Public Law 100–348</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/410nn-1">16 U.S.C. 410nn–1(d)</external-xref>) is amended by striking the second sentence <quote>credited in accordance with</quote> and all that follows through the period and inserting <quote>available until expended, without further appropriation, for purposes at the park for which fee revenue is permitted to be used under section 808(a)(3) of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2005 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/108/447">Public Law 108–447</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/6807">16 U.S.C. 6807</external-xref>).</quote>.</text> </paragraph></subsection>
<subsection id="HFFD35C5404904224AF99E40178EDA79E"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Conforming amendments</header> 
<paragraph id="HB016A78FB06E4370BEB46DD0A7D1825"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Map; boundary</header><text>Section 2(b) of the San Francisco Maritime Historical Park Act of 1988 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/100/348">Public Law 100–348</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/410nn">16 U.S.C. 410nn(b)</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<subparagraph id="H42BD588AFD3745C7ADA81E7E96DC6EA5"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking <quote>numbered 641/80,053 and dated April 7, 1987</quote> and inserting <quote>numbered 350/80,012 and dated June 2004</quote>; and</text> </subparagraph>
<subparagraph id="HDC1133B9C6EC44418C9586AA41CD9600"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by striking the third and fourth sentences and inserting the following: <quote>The Secretary of the Interior (hereafter in this Act referred to as the <quote>Secretary</quote>) may make minor revisions of the boundary of the park in accordance with section 7(c) of the Land and Water Conservation Act of 1965 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/460l-9">16 U.S.C. 460l–9(c)</external-xref>).</quote>.</text> </subparagraph></paragraph>
<paragraph id="HAAC02928366E44B8BF6E63975971A9C"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Fees or admission charges</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 4(e) of the Act titled <quote>An Act to establish the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in the State of California, and for other purposes</quote> (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/92/589">Public Law 92–589</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/460bb-3">16 U.S.C. 460bb–3(e)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>and for admission to the sailing vessel Balclutha and other historical vessels of the National Maritime Museum</quote>.</text> </paragraph></subsection></section>

<subsection display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H37FC8A15A47B411CBE42409281D9B5BB"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Name Change</header> 
<paragraph id="H319EE7A1645942AB8E7C03F11DC4C6D2"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The Golden Gate National Recreation Area is hereby renamed the <quote>Golden Gate National Parks</quote>.</text> </paragraph>
<paragraph id="HF6EDDEB82E244B8DB5B3D3FDD6BD86B"><enum>(2)</enum><header>References</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the Golden Gate National Recreation Area is deemed to be a reference to the Golden Gate National Parks.</text> </paragraph>
<paragraph id="H8C504180B7BF427594B186FCAAABFB00"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Conforming amendments</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Act titled “An Act to establish the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in the State of California, and for other purposes” (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/92/589">Public Law 92–589</external-xref>, approved October 27, 1972) is amended—</text> 
<subparagraph id="HDB4BFA4C94FC4B3194E3044003C95EA"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in sections 1 and 2 by striking <quote>National Recreation Area</quote> each place it appears and inserting <quote>National Parks</quote>; and</text> </subparagraph>
<subparagraph id="HA0EAE3DF5E444A279FB590070B59F25"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by striking <quote>recreation area</quote> each place it appears and inserting <quote>national parks</quote>.</text> </subparagraph></paragraph></subsection>
<subsection id="HCD12AAF54C074F7B9FC9527B832C8D00"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Change of unit from recreation area to national park</header> 
<paragraph id="HDB334795FF014BAC8078CC3526D5C7E"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The Golden Gate National Parks, as so renamed by subsection (a), is hereby designated as a national park and shall be administered as such by the Secretary of the Interior.</text> </paragraph>
<paragraph id="H619DF1B1D42041ADBDB3243B00B7D053"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Clarification</header><text>This section designates the recreation area known as Golden Gate National Recreation Area as a national park and renames that unit Golden Gate National Parks. Nothing in this section shall be construed as creating a new <quote>national parks</quote> category of designation with the National Park System.</text> </paragraph></subsection></section>
<section id="H2044679F423F4E919DDAE19ADB3F3A7"><enum>3.</enum><header>Presidio Trust Technical Corrections</header> 
<subsection id="H09765D5D8ABF4056924D6112C09162B9"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Public Information and Interpretation</header><text>Section 102(b) of division I of the Omnibus Parks and Public Lands Management Act of 1996 is amended to read as follows:</text>

<subsection id="HCC5AAD3316704A6EBB7663E5664D9ED2"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Public Information and Interpretation</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary and the Presidio Trust shall provide public interpretive services, visitor orientation and educational programs within the Presidio.</text> </subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </subsection>
<subsection id="H74E06813E8AC4ECC824F00DBD8EBFF3"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Transfer; Board of directors</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 103 of division I of the Omnibus Parks and Public Lands Management Act of 1996 is amended as follows:</text> 
<paragraph id="H00DEDA8F364845EEAF83B9F81FB01FAB"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In subsection (b)(1), by striking <quote>The Secretary shall retain jurisdiction over those portions of the building identified as number 102 as the Secretary deems essential for use as a visitor center. The building shall be named the <quote>William Penn Mott Visitor Center</quote></quote> and inserting <quote>The Trust shall designate a prominently placed building to be the site of a visitor center to be operated jointly by the Trust and the National Park Service. In selecting the site for the visitor center, the Trust shall obtain the concurrence of the Superintendent of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The visitor center shall be named the <quote>William Penn Mott Visitor Center</quote> and may be relocated by mutual consent of the Trust and the Superintendent of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.</quote>.</text> </paragraph>
<paragraph id="H99B1A3CDBBD24F7185DF955EBFF938B4"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In subsection (c)(1)(B), by inserting <quote>education, program development,</quote> after <quote>real estate development,</quote>.</text> </paragraph></subsection>
<subsection id="H0288A490BE854DB09E68A3F46DB33B03"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Duties and Authorities of the Trust</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 104 of division I of the Omnibus Parks and Public Lands Management Act of 1996 is amended as follows:</text> 
<paragraph id="H73F29D121704495483A09BFD8708F3D7"><enum>(1)</enum><text>In subsection (i)—</text> 
<subparagraph id="HA8681852ECB64BA789CD2B4B803F70B6"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking <quote>conduct</quote> and inserting <quote>provision</quote>; and</text> </subparagraph>
<subparagraph id="H19688739FC25415B9E9DB000D44FB212"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following: <quote>Notwithstanding section 105(b), there are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out this paragraph.</quote>.</text> </subparagraph></paragraph>
<paragraph id="HE3E9F09BED994A2A9304C2D12D48FB62"><enum>(2)</enum><text>In subsection (n)—</text> 
<subparagraph id="HC64627B6C8024A2882B661FE600F142"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by striking <quote>general objectives of the General Management Plan for the Presidio</quote> and inserting <quote>Presidio Trust Management Plan</quote>; and</text> </subparagraph>
<subparagraph id="HC95C44466E2B4684BD32E38900EB57E"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by inserting <quote>, and tenants that provide high quality public programming</quote> before the final period.</text> </subparagraph></paragraph>
<paragraph id="H893EC7343A3E41279E28F15C1BEE4316"><enum>(3)</enum><text>By striking subsection (o).</text> </paragraph></subsection>
<subsection id="H37B2034E18B84B558BC668FF2CCAF13C"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Limitations on Funding</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 105(a)(2) of division I of the Omnibus Parks and Public Lands Management Act of 1996 is amended by striking the following: <quote>Of such sums, funds shall be available through the Trust for law enforcement activities and services to be provided by the United States Park Police at the Presidio in accordance with section 104(i) of this title.</quote>.</text> </subsection>
<subsection id="H947431106DB4463DB2F043B054CD2D7D"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Government Accountability Office Study</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Division I of the Omnibus Parks and Public Lands Management Act of 1996 is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HEE592CA9F10541588466DC00B1B09651"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in section 106—</text> 
<subparagraph id="H883D6E4392EE4730903D45E59D20D239"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking subsection (b);</text> </subparagraph>
<subparagraph id="HA846FFB5183947309BE6B3703E13933C"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by striking <quote>General Accounting</quote> each place it appears and inserting <quote>Government Accountability</quote>; and</text> </subparagraph>
<subparagraph id="HBB0C7F3D069442FAB8F142D194B4EA5E"><enum>(C)</enum><text>in subsection (c)—</text> 
<clause id="HD285B41E4DEB407DB67B5498C0B111A6"><enum>(i)</enum><text>by striking <quote>Seven</quote> and inserting <quote>Twelve</quote>;</text> </clause>
<clause id="H202853EF4D874A9A82D96391DEE1EB46"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>by striking <quote>comprehensive study</quote> and inserting <quote>study</quote>;</text> </clause>

<clause id="HA220407CE24B4563813721CA4470046B"><enum>(iv)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by striking <quote>on Resources</quote> and inserting <quote>on Natural Resources</quote>; and</text> </clause></subparagraph></paragraph>
<paragraph id="H13239621819F43738700DB566869C7D8"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in the table of contents, in the item for section 106, by striking <quote>General Accounting</quote> and inserting <quote>Government Accountability</quote>.</text> </paragraph></subsection>
<subsection id="H49715E85DE014C0EBD6056DBDDACB2D"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Fort Scott Advisory Task Force</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Title I of division I of the Omnibus Parks and Public Lands Management Act of 1996 is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>

<section id="HB18C75C433204050AE6CED89AD078096"><enum>108.</enum><header>Fort Scott Advisory Task Force</header> 
<subsection id="H434770D230BA4F98ACFFAE008BAEC591"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Establishment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">There is hereby established the Fort Scott, Presidio of San Francisco Advisory Task Force (referred to in this section as the <quote>Task Force</quote>).</text> </subsection>
<subsection id="HE81DF822ACB940C18215B53C7664DF90"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Membership; Appointment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Task Force shall be composed of up to 12 members nominated by Chairman of the Board and appointed by a majority vote of the Board of Directors of the Presidio Trust.</text> </subsection>
<subsection id="H4277E54683CA4197A6EADEA736FFA38F"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Vacancy</header><text>A vacancy on the Task Force shall be filled in the same manner in which the original appointment was made.</text> </subsection>
<subsection id="HCECF69F23E9C47689C00DE821155FF"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Purpose; Consultation with Presidio Trust Board of Directors</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Task Force shall provide expertise and advice to the Board of Directors regarding the preservation and reuse of Fort Scott. The Task Force shall meet with the Presidio Trust Board of Directors not less than 3 times during its term to provide such expertise and advice on matters related to the reuse of Fort Scott as a center for education, research, policy development, and related activities, taking into account the Presidio Trust’s statutory mandates.</text> </subsection>
<subsection id="H0DCD345710C4482D81BE6D239C9BAAB3"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Compensation and Expenses</header><text>Members of the Task Force shall serve without compensation, but may be reimbursed for actual and necessary travel and subsistence expenses incurred by them in the performance of the duties of the Task Force.</text> </subsection>
<subsection id="H42F652122E104A9485E7790312007270"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Voting</header><text>The Task Force shall act and advise by affirmative vote of a majority of the members thereof.</text> </subsection>
<subsection id="H79A63E0835A148149FC8AF9E822203A7"><enum>(g)</enum><header>Termination Date</header><text>The Task Force shall cease to exist 24 months after the date of its first meeting.</text> </subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </subsection></section>
