		<official-title>To authorize the Korean War Veterans Association to
		  establish a commemorative work on Federal land in the District of Columbia near
		  the Korean War Memorial on the Mall to honor members of the Armed Forces who
		  have served in Korea since July 28, 1953.</official-title>

		<section id="H55DF9076C0214346988E35DE47919439" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Commemorative work to
			 veterans who served in Korea after 1953</header>
			<subsection id="H9D2F8534C52C4871ACAB929FFD9072AC"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Authority To
			 Establish Commemorative Work</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Korean War Veterans Association may
			 establish a commemorative work on Federal land in the District of Columbia and
			 its environs near the Korean War Veterans Memorial to honor members of the
			 Armed Forces who have served in Korea since July 28, 1953.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="HCAA6ADFECC954FDCBF40201422003B85"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Compliance With
			 Standards for Commemorative Works</header><text>The commemorative work
			 authorized by subsection (a) shall be established in accordance with chapter 89
			 of title 40, United States Code (commonly known as the <quote>Commemorative
			 Works Act</quote>), except that sections <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/40/8903">8903(b)</external-xref> and <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/40/8908">8908(c)</external-xref> of title 40,
			 United States Code, shall not apply to that commemorative work.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H5D96B6D7206C47E0A224A5CAA9115E2F"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Use of Federal
			 Funds Prohibited</header><text>Federal funds may not be used to pay any expense
			 of the establishment of the commemorative work authorized by subsection (a).
			 The Korean War Veterans Association, shall be solely responsible for acceptance
			 of contributions for, and payment of the expenses of, the establishment of that
			 commemorative work.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H5D57D43E0A51430AB9A4281BF64965F0"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Deposit of
			 Excess Funds</header><text>If, upon payment of all expenses of the
			 establishment of the commemorative work authorized by subsection (a) (including
			 the maintenance and preservation amount provided for in section 8906(b), of
			 title 40, United States Code), or upon expiration of the authority for the
			 commemorative work under <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/40/89">chapter 89</external-xref> of title 40, United States Code, there
			 remains a balance of funds received for the establishment of that commemorative
			 work, the Korean War Veterans Association, shall transmit the amount of the
			 balance to the Secretary of the Treasury for deposit in the account provided
			 for in section 8906(b)(1) of such title.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H9F182FDDDCED4EB6A55E68D0212B428B"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Definitions</header><text>For
			 the purposes of this section, the terms <term>commemorative work</term> and
			 <term>the District of Columbia and its environs</term> have the meanings given
			 to such terms in <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/40/8902">section 8902(a)</external-xref> of title 40, United States Code.</text>
