<section id="H6E9459882B7B4DAA844E31D94CA52C02" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Electronic pay stubs</header> 
<subsection id="HEC35CBA264D64B7C9FC0022FC4B4CF88"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Office of Personnel Management shall take such measures as may be appropriate to ensure that all employees who receive their pay by electronic funds transfer shall be given the option of receiving their pay stubs electronically.</text> </subsection>
<subsection id="H9B0DFDA249934D58B0A23471AE56A13C"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Definitions</header><text>For purposes of this section—</text> 
<paragraph id="HC2B1599903F44246A8AEBA3E2968F753"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the term <term>electronic funds transfer</term> has the meaning given such term by <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/31/3332">section 3332</external-xref> of title 31, United States Code;</text> </paragraph>
<paragraph id="H03FFD7CC3F7A4814B650600900A7ABBF"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the term <term>employee</term> means an individual employed in or under an Executive agency; and</text> </paragraph>
<paragraph id="H26654AF7DA0146A1BEDEB74469D803E2"><enum>(3)</enum><text>the term <term>Executive agency</term> has the meaning given such term by <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/5/105">section 105</external-xref> of title 5, United States Code.</text> </paragraph></subsection></section>
